I recommend the InCharge cable. kinda like the chaffon multi cable, but more compact and has all of the same options as far as I can tell. Not super long but also more compact, so it’s a tradeoff. I love having with me at all times in case I need to charge a friend’s phone for them!

Can someone tell me if the shoulder pocket strap will fit a passport? Thx

  3. Drowning In Tea on May 15, 2022 at 8:18 pm

That Gear Shoulder Strap Pocket looks ugly. I recommend the Alpaka Modular Phone Sling which can be used as both a phone sling and a pouch you can attach to a backpack shoulder strap.

What hoodie sweater are you wearing in this video?

  5. Peter on May 15, 2022 at 8:18 pm

Very interested in the soap bar bag. After having used an aluminum Lush container and then their cork version I stumbled upon the fact that a Vo5 matt clay case is exactly the right fit and doesn’t leak. However the soap bar also doesn’t dry inside. Also the Gerber multitool peaked my interest. I wish it had an allen wrench built in for (un)mounting tripods and plates on my camera but otherwise it seems great. Maybe I’ll even buy some flathead tripod screws instead. Both these items should shave off a few grams while adding convenience.

+1 for merino Buff because of the less microplastic water pollution

Can we get a video where you review clothing and gear for larger sized folk. It’s really hard to find!

  16. Kota W. on May 15, 2022 at 8:32 pm

Hmm, one of those charging cables will definitely be going into my purse instead of the mass of cables I have now. I really like the looks of that Chafon one. Also, that Howsarlock looks really, really handy.

As a suggestion, quick(ish) release clips are nice to have. I have one by NiteIze that my keys live on. It locks, but is easy to release one-handed. I don’t know how many times that’s come in handy when on a trip or in daily life.

  22. Noordin Nanji on May 15, 2022 at 8:41 pm

Question : do you know if the shoulder strap pocket comes in a hard external case variety? Reason being I don’t have the best balance so if I fall on my front, I still want my sunglasses protected!

Hey guys I love your content and I just wanted to recommend the sennheiser momentum 2 earphones because not only are they better than the jabra’s but also the AirPods Pro. So if you get the chance, review them.

  33. Kang Lih Toh on May 15, 2022 at 8:54 pm

anyone knows how to keep the backpack shoulder straps length at the bottom of the pack from sliding? (the loose straps dangling at the end) I’ve adjusted my shoulder straps perfectly to make the backpack higher up on the back, but after awhile the strap loosens. tried black insulation tape (which i used to secure those dangling straps), but it still loosen :(. using a tortuga set ou 35l btw, pack loads of things everyday

  37. Mike Thomas on May 15, 2022 at 8:59 pm

Gerber has another keychain tool called the Mullet. It’s similar in design to the Shard with the same tools but it adds a belt loop hook and has an overall more boxy design making it look less intimidating than the Shard.

Some fantastic gadgets. Love the door lock.

  41. J on May 15, 2022 at 9:04 pm

Kable card. Multi adapter cables plus its a thumb drive and it can be used as a cell phone stand and can do wireless charging. Though it does not have built in battery but super slim.

  42. Natacha on May 15, 2022 at 9:04 pm

Oh lord, I travel 48/52 weekends, never heard of the hauser lock, do you KNOW how many broken bathroom stall doors I run into? PS I’m a soundtech, I swear by Mack’s too, bring extras for friends….etc

Hello. I see you came to my own City….
I like your tips, but the items, most of then anyway are to high for me…. (blame Taxes at Costumes)….
    Thanks
    Will see blog

  44. Albel Lawliet on May 15, 2022 at 9:06 pm

I’ve always had a slight dislike for the chaffon cables. It is nifty to have a 6 in 1, but not when you can’t connect it to a wall plug that is behind your night stand, or in an awkward place at an airport. Just a fair warning.

  45. Pack Hacker on May 15, 2022 at 9:06 pm

What’s one product you never travel without? 🧳🤓🛫

  46. BillyPilgrim on May 15, 2022 at 9:06 pm

11:29 I just got the Shard a few weeks ago and I’ve been wondering that same thing. It does look a tiny bit like a weapon.
