The Sinking City as Jim Sterling put it is that game in which you spent a lot of time but would not recommend

Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube (it’s first M rated game) OOZED of this theme and one of the most memorable games I’ve ever played. And, of course, it’s the ONLY game I’ve ever owned than got a glitch creating scratch on it!

Dusk is another game that draws heavy influence from Lovecraft’s work, and it even includes an appearance from an important character from the lore (whose identity I won’t spoil).

Clive Barker’s Undying should definitely be in a list such as this =)

maybe Dark Gaia from "Sonic Unleashed"?!!! looks like "lovecraftian" to me…

I really cant understand lovecraft horror in general so i wont pretend that i know all about it

I’m surprised the realm of Hermaeus Mora from Skyrim didn’t make this list. That sh*t just screams lovecraftian

    Quake?

  11. Justin Tantiongloc on December 21, 2021 at 1:19 pm

FromSoft’s outstanding style of indirect/environmental storytelling really made Bloodborne one of the most immersive cosmic horror games of all time, imo. Having to piece together the story like that with very little direct narrative or exposition added SO much to the eeriness and creepiness of the world. Easily in my top 10 games of all time.

Where the hell is Darkest Dungeon? That game’s RNG alone is scarier than the entire Resident Evil franchise put together.

  13. Kid A on December 21, 2021 at 1:22 pm

What about Darkest Dungeon? That’s pure Lovecraft.

  14. krippy depperi on December 21, 2021 at 1:23 pm

    where is darkest dungeon?

  15. Trami Nguyen on December 21, 2021 at 1:27 pm

I love these video game bosses!

  16. SR Brant on December 21, 2021 at 1:29 pm

The scariest part about the most recent _Call of Cthulhu_ is its _abominable_ voice acting.

  17. GRN on December 21, 2021 at 1:29 pm

  18. Mohsen Bayati on December 21, 2021 at 1:30 pm

Sinking City on PS5 is none of the bad things they say in this video, any issues from the previous generation have been fixed, I love this game on my PS5. The story, atmosphere, weirdness, and 60fps 4K are great. Gotta be careful with Mojo they don’t always give you the full story. Same goes for their lists as well as they often call good movies bad, and bad movies good,

  25. Sage on December 21, 2021 at 1:43 pm

No mention of Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened?

  26. Kilian Duplouy on December 21, 2021 at 1:45 pm

    The Shore?

  27. Chris Xavier on December 21, 2021 at 1:47 pm

Bloodborne will always be in my top 10

  28. Anthony Jerome Thorn on December 21, 2021 at 1:49 pm

Sanity’s requiem is very difficult to find now. And you have to play through it 3 times to get the complete ending.

  29. Spike Bebop on December 21, 2021 at 1:50 pm

The Call of Cthulu sound interesting and terrifying

  30. Crabomax on December 21, 2021 at 1:52 pm

Eternal Darkness was a good game.

  31. Chris Green on December 21, 2021 at 1:53 pm

As Gamers we owe a lot to him If it wasn’t for HP Lovecraft it wouldn’t be any Doom. quake. Dead Space. BioShock or bloodborne🎮👑

  32. NeoTrggrTheGammer on December 21, 2021 at 1:54 pm

surprised World of Horror didn’t get a honorable mention or something…great horror game, with a dash of Lovecraftian inspired horror…plus it looks neat, like a old computer game

  33. Erik The Elder Dragon on December 21, 2021 at 1:54 pm

Lobotomy Corporation should have been on the list, there is some serious nightmare fuel in that game.

  34. Church of Cthulhu on December 21, 2021 at 1:54 pm
