Wouldn’t it cost more to buy the screen itself

  2. M A on December 9, 2022 at 12:23 am

😂 yeah, no thx. I’d surely damage the inside components and then not need a new screen but a new phone🥴

I’ve never replaced a screen before and worried that I’ll screw it up and ruin my phone that I just got! The screen has a crack that goes from one corner down to the opposite corner, but doesn’t effect the functionality of the phone in anyway! Just was thinkinking of repairing it anyway! I’ve already bought the screen, but am having second thoughts on it! Any advice! (Can’t afford a store to do it) lol thanks stephen

Useful tip the one of how different iphone models open up. Thanks!!
One tip i have for you is using an ice tray to keep the parts you remove organized. I feel it is useful especially when dealing with small parts.

  46. Dr. Simp on December 9, 2022 at 1:15 am

It would be a lot easier to heat up the screen a bit to melt the adhesive (with proper tools don’t just put it over a fire or sum) because that might avoid the chance of trying to remove the adhesive, struggling, and accidentally exerting too much force, damaging something inside. It’s happened to me, happened to my friend, just melt the adhesive, makes ur life easier.

    Wow! Great video! Great explanation!

  50. gazzaboy on December 9, 2022 at 1:19 am

Question.. few videos plus a online course I tried said about heating the screen up prior to inserting a sharp object to remove the screen? Is this necessary or can you just do it as described in this video? Thanks
