Do you leave your black tank open while hooked up? It appears that way.

  2. Russ Woodward on October 8, 2021 at 6:57 am

    Great tips!

  3. Roger McRoy on October 8, 2021 at 6:58 am

Hughes watch dog is outstanding. I can’t tell you how great it is take my word for it. It worth every penny. Saved me big time when the park had several major power spikes and then the power went out. Watch dog cut power Instantly. No damage to any of the electronics. AC UNIT or any other thing hooked to the electric.

  4. Lawrence Haugen on October 8, 2021 at 6:59 am

I suggest a right angle connector for your hose. Let’s the hose hang straight down and not put so much leverage on the hose connection.

  5. Robyn Cleary on October 8, 2021 at 7:00 am

What all did you purchase for the solar panels??? I need to get some for my toy hauler.i saw 3 battlborn batteries and 2 solar panels but what converter, Guage wire, and Control panel?

  6. My Illumination on October 8, 2021 at 7:00 am

Great recommendations and very informative. Thank you

  7. b hbdvm on October 8, 2021 at 7:02 am

Is the zeroG hose designed for potable water? In the past this has been a concern

  8. Joyce Luloff on October 8, 2021 at 7:03 am

Sorry if this was already posted but which washer and dryer did you get? Had a previous one that did not work well. Thank you

  9. Ken Elliott on October 8, 2021 at 7:03 am

    Which washing machine is it?

  10. Kristina A on October 8, 2021 at 7:04 am

  11. Scott Graham on October 8, 2021 at 7:05 am

That is really a great list, and I could find many uses for a few of those things right here in my house, thank you for listing them!

  12. cryhavoc38 on October 8, 2021 at 7:05 am

the 6th most important accessory would be a wireless lapel microphone for your video’s 🙂

  13. Lambert Lorette on October 8, 2021 at 7:09 am

great selection – thanks for the information 🙂

  14. Brandon Volturno on October 8, 2021 at 7:10 am

Zero g makes a wider diameter "pro" hose and it flows better

  15. UnholySeoul on October 8, 2021 at 7:10 am

Noticed you recommended the portable EMS. The EMS measures voltage at it’s location, therefore the most accurate voltage measurements will be when it is placed closest to the load. If the EMS is placed at the power pedestal, it can measure 104V (just above the voltage cutoff threshold), yet due to the voltage drop along the 30Amp drop cord, there may only be100V at the RV. Even worse, if the EMS cutoff voltage is 102V, the RV voltage could be 98V. (depends on EMS cutoff)
The hard-wired version would eliminate this issue since it’s closer to the load, especially for a 30amp. This is less of an issue for 50 amp unless you’re using a 30amp cable.

  16. Fuzzy Dog on October 8, 2021 at 7:11 am

How do you protect that $300 power conditioner from theft? I can see that being gone if it isn’t locked down somehow.

  17. Truth Hurts on October 8, 2021 at 7:11 am

Isnt that water hose not good for drinking water? Considering how algae and other things can accumulate in it? The white standard hoses actually say on the cover that it’s for “drinking water” asking out of ignorance

  18. Crossroads Crawford's on October 8, 2021 at 7:12 am

yep have the watchdog too. Love it.

Do you use a propane fire pit? If so which brand is it?

  21. John BassHead & RC Work on October 8, 2021 at 7:15 am

Number one don’t buy an RV Number two you should have two dehumidifiers, three you should Not have a washing machine/Dryer in your RV use the one on site, number four Don’t ever use the bathroom in your coach use the one on site number five don’t buy a coach with slide outs especially if they are Schwinn tech or cable driven also do not live in your coach it will not last very long!!!! It will rot from the inside out

The common sense guy that has been working on RVs for too many years!!!

Do not step around the drain in your shower It will break the shower pan lack of being able to brace the drain and the pan!
All RVs leak so if you have a leak especially around a slide just deal with it because with slide toppers it might help a little bit but at 40 mile an hour winds it will leak and it will rot and you will not even know it!!
Get on the roof once a day and make sure the corners are not soft before you buy one even a brand new one that has been sitting on the lot make sure not to get The floor isn’t rotten as well especially on a fifth wheel overhang or in the front compartment.

Please Please Please put the doors back on the furnaces and on the fifth wheels please don’t put them in the water management panel on the other side of the hot water heater with a door that would be all right..
Please use the same equipment in the same coaches, one guy grabs an AtwoodDometic one guy grabs a Suburban.. Please quit stapling through power wires or the phone wire from the wall thermostat to the AC unit.
Please don’t rely on lag bolts to hold AC unit down the pinch design is much safer!!!
Please put a rubber coupler in between the tank in the black water valve so you can replace it without cutting The pipe or removing the tank/s. Please do not put black or gray water valves on cables!!!

I can go on and on and on and on!!!!!
Let me know be glad to!!!

I added a macerator pump to my waste water system. So far I love not having a big hose stretched out for waste water. Everything goes through a garden hose although I still carry the big hose in case of pump failure.

Last time I left the toilet seat up my x wife sat down and got her butt wet. Still haven’t heard the end of that to this day 40 years later !!! lol

  25. Pete S on October 8, 2021 at 7:23 am

When you changed to the BB battery’s, did you need to change the charger as well?

  26. Peter Zawisha on October 8, 2021 at 7:24 am

The worst way to dry wet things from the washing machine is to hag it outside pollen and dust sticks to wet things like a magnet

  27. Chuck Chillson on October 8, 2021 at 7:28 am

I used a diagnostic surge protector to find out I had a bad 30 amp cord I plugged my 30′ 30 amp extension cord into this that I was gonna plug into my rv cord and it showed open ground tried different cord it was fine turns out the cord had an issue

  28. Carlos Benjamin on October 8, 2021 at 7:28 am

We got a washer a couple of years ago. It does the washing and spin cycle in a single tub, making it possible to do bigger loads. Plus you don’t have to handle the dripping wet clothes to transfer to the spin side. It’s probably a bit smaller than a double sided machine (which I’d been looking at before finding this one) so it will fit in a smaller footprint. Even though we have had it a couple of years already, every few months my wife thanks me for talking her into it.

  29. Lily Langman on October 8, 2021 at 7:29 am

    How heavy is that washer?

  30. Opinionteer on October 8, 2021 at 7:32 am

If I have a generator do I need a battleborn?

  31. Susan Burmeister on October 8, 2021 at 7:33 am

Do you have any recommendations for WiFi for RVs I’m doing school and using my son’s WiFi when I can get it but he may be told to move on and I need to get my own. I’m hooked to extension cord and have garden hoses for water. Water not hooked to trailer. I’m not in an rv park. I’m sorta boondocking, kinda.

  32. Larry Rushing on October 8, 2021 at 7:33 am

It doesn’t come out completely dry.

  33. thedukelsu on October 8, 2021 at 7:33 am

Use command strips and mount the toilet light in the bathroom exhaust vent. Wave you hand in front of it to activate. Keeps it clean and has enough light for the room.

  42. Steph W on October 8, 2021 at 7:44 am

I use the Zero-G hose and love it.

  43. Tim Terrillion on October 8, 2021 at 7:45 am

I had the zeroG hose and after about 3 seasons it started leaking out the outer shell like it was a soaker hose.

  44. Maryj on October 8, 2021 at 7:49 am

How do you hook up a 30A surge protector to watch the amps and if using to much shut down the AC when you are on “shore power” sort to speak… someone explain this to me if you understand what I don’t…thanks.

I cannot believe you recommended the washing machine item from an Amazon seller with a 78% rating. I followed your link to the washing machine and the link to the seller.
You should be completely ashamed of yourself for doing that.

  46. Jay Richardson on October 8, 2021 at 7:52 am

Hey bud I totally understand and agree with you about the time toilet bowl light

I have the washer in my Big Tiny House. Easy

  48. Lori W on October 8, 2021 at 7:53 am

My problem with the Zero G as a water hose is that it will get “yuck” inside it. The white hose that’s made for your fresh water supply will not have a problem with that. I switched back to the regular white one when I noticed a “build up” inside the Zero G. 😢
Also, I use a copper 90 deg. fitting for the connection of the hose at my RV. That lessens the pressure the hose puts on those plastic parts it connects to.

  49. White Cobra on October 8, 2021 at 7:54 am
