Great, now there are more things I wanna spend money on – god damnit Trey!

  2. Dale Nicholas on September 20, 2022 at 4:04 am

Dude I got an EMG hex driver, and no lie it actually broke the very first time I used it. It literally split down the side tightening a volume pot🤣

  3. Jared Lucky on September 20, 2022 at 4:04 am

First gadget is literally a standard multitool – widely available literally everywhere for far less than $25 – also i would suggest organizing the tools you already have so when you DO need them you arent forced to rummage

  4. Josh Martin on September 20, 2022 at 4:06 am

Speaking on the drill, use it wisely. I had to change a string pre-show and without an amp… my dumbass went to tight and popped it. I got lucky and didn’t need that particular guitar but seriously guys don’t be like me! Pay attention to that monster

  5. Travis on September 20, 2022 at 4:06 am

I use the ibanez tool that came with my prestige more than any other tool in general.

  6. Byatte Doskas on September 20, 2022 at 4:06 am

should’ve called it "trey goes Stevie T for 9 minutes" haha

  7. apfelmistnutte on September 20, 2022 at 4:07 am

Just use screw lock on the fucki’ input jacks. or get an ibanet one. they somehow never fucking get loose haha

  8. Micah Alderman on September 20, 2022 at 4:11 am

those plirs are made by husky. i have a pair and they are great.

  9. LowMan Josh on September 20, 2022 at 4:12 am

Never tighten up output jacks and pots without opening the cavity it’s all fun and games till you rip the solders off the pot or the output jack of your instrument during a gig is a nightmare

  10. Backslabbath on September 20, 2022 at 4:12 am

Acoustic guitar??? Oh you mean Grampas Guitars!!

  11. Vance on September 20, 2022 at 4:13 am

To all the people looking for a combination string winder clipper, do NOT buy the D’Addario one. It’s absolutely trash, winding strings loosens the screw holding the winder to the handle.

  12. Saber Reiter on September 20, 2022 at 4:16 am

Just install locking tuners in everything

  13. Carolus Hiroki Satyanegara on September 20, 2022 at 4:18 am

my main cables have velcro straps on them so………………………………… yea. The brand is called kirlin btw

  14. yambo59 on September 20, 2022 at 4:20 am

The Ibanez multi-tool doesnt have a .050" hex for Fender saddle height screws, its smaller than a 1.5mm

  15. Jonny Kane Santos on September 20, 2022 at 4:21 am

    Carol would be proud

  16. MK Sounds on September 20, 2022 at 4:22 am

Or buy generic cable ties and get 60 for $7. The jack nut tightener is pretty awesome, though. Your example of trying to tighten those things was spot on. Ironically, my ’89 HM Strat has become that unfortunate shade of pink.

  17. John Crafton on September 20, 2022 at 4:23 am

It’s not an "input jack". There is nothing being input into the guitar. It is, in fact, an OUTPUT jack.

  18. Jason OImstead on September 20, 2022 at 4:24 am

Man, I have always used those Velcro ties wrong….mind = blown!

  19. Spencer Briercliffe on September 20, 2022 at 4:27 am

I’m gonna get those cable ties for work… Better than taking all the cords and hoses!

  20. Joshua Taft on September 20, 2022 at 4:27 am

Gifts are cool. From what I’ve heard

  21. apfelmistnutte on September 20, 2022 at 4:28 am

  25. Ekton on September 20, 2022 at 4:34 am

This video made me way to excited over a little piece of Velcro

  26. Christopher Bailey on September 20, 2022 at 4:34 am

Easy way to stop nuts coming loose, put some clear nail polish on the thread and then put the nut on, works great.

  27. BornBroken Mtl on September 20, 2022 at 4:35 am

I got one of those pliers back in the early 90s. Still use it to this day and I also don’t know the name of it.

  28. Lucas on September 20, 2022 at 4:36 am

anyone else get undercover furry vibes from this guy?

  29. Hvolgaard Display of Power on September 20, 2022 at 4:36 am

  30. Tyler Hansen on September 20, 2022 at 4:39 am

Thumbs up for the home improvement grunt

  31. Acoustic0323 on September 20, 2022 at 4:41 am

I’m pretty sure your pliers are ‘Husky’ brand.

  32. Marc Sugudom on September 20, 2022 at 4:42 am

I got that exact same combination needle nose plier/wire cutter from Radio Shack, years ago. Yeah…

  33. Luc DiGiuseppe on September 20, 2022 at 4:42 am

    (Unlike my dad)
    I laughed

  34. rleary1 on September 20, 2022 at 4:42 am

The best is a Dunlap string winder with ‘detachable drill bit’ for fast restringing imho. No need to buy the small ‘power peg’ when you can buy a variable power battery drill from Harbor Freight for 15 bucks…

  35. Mate on September 20, 2022 at 4:43 am

Number 1 acoustic guitar gadget: Capo 😃😃😃

  36. SADat4AM on September 20, 2022 at 4:43 am

    coll edit. talk less

  37. TomBob 277 South on September 20, 2022 at 4:44 am

I bought Velcro brand cable ties that were in a roll like tape and it definitely made my life much easier, I have them on instrument, speaker and mic cables but also on my electric cords for my amps and pedalboard and anything that can tangle up. The Velcro ones are easy to find too, places like WallyWorld have them for a few bucks for a roll with a ton of them.

  38. Donny P. on September 20, 2022 at 4:45 am

I have the exact same pair of those flip pliers too and i have had them forever aswell. They were made by Mastercraft and the were called the Flip Grip pliers

  39. Michael metal 71 on September 20, 2022 at 4:46 am

that Hex driver is a piece of 💩 i bought it after watching this video and it doesn’t work on anything wound up throwing it in the trash 🗑

  40. DKStudiosful on September 20, 2022 at 4:47 am

The input jack and volume pot wrench probably fits the nut on the tuner post as well im guessing. Gotta be close. I always like the make sure those are tight when changing strings….

  41. emach07 on September 20, 2022 at 4:48 am

I never used those ties like that lol I just ordered them along with that powered string winder. HATE restringing my dad-burned guitars. Thanks :))

  42. Isaac Ramirez on September 20, 2022 at 4:50 am

This video is VERY chaotic. I approve

  43. Kagemonsteret101 on September 20, 2022 at 4:50 am

Ortega makes some good stuff I play there banjos, ukuleles, guitars and use there cleaning stuff… Now i need one of these too. Ortega you got a fan in me.

  44. Douglas Noble on September 20, 2022 at 4:51 am

    There you go

  46. theedgeinshow on September 20, 2022 at 4:54 am

From this moment on, every person who hands me a tangled cable is getting called "Carol".

  47. ThirteenthAndy on September 20, 2022 at 4:55 am

    Output jack, man. Output.

Edit: oh, and for full disclosure, I used to say input jack all the time so I get it. Just before someone googles me to call me out for a 10 year old post somewhere, lol.

  48. BB Guitars on September 20, 2022 at 4:56 am

I need content, quick pull 5 gimmicks from the bottom of my drawer I never use…. Hot tip[ for young players, grab yourself a 1/4 socket + driver set that covers metric and imperial, it will cover every nut and bolt you will possibly come across on a guitar and cost the same as a few cheap shitty ideas that will leave you wanting/needing more…

  49. pat mccrotch on September 20, 2022 at 4:57 am

That string winder is the shit, I love mine. BTW, I’ve been using the cable ties for years, that, combined with learning the proper way to coil up cables has saved me a lot of frustration from untangling cables, and so much time not having to solder cables.

  50. Krulty on September 20, 2022 at 4:59 am

Damn, those Ibanez multitools are expensive in America. I paid about £10 for mine.
