3:45 I was negotiating a FD-8 today… and thanks to this video I did ask if he had an FD-7… he said, Yes, but why you want it over the FD-8?? for that oldie 23 USD 🙂

Thank you for these informations. It is a pleasure for me to look at it..!!!!

I have used the Evans Patch and they work great on my Alesis Command Mesh drum kit. I got to check out those KZ ZS10 Pro in Ear Monitor Headphone. They look sweet for the price. Thanks!

Nice list! I will use the links to pick up a few things!!

Used your links to buy the KZ ZS10 Pro IEM’s, cable and New Bee tips. I’ve got a good array of options for my edrum kit: Sennheiser HD 280 Pro’s, Shure SCL 425 with custom ear molds and JBL Eon monitors. The KZ ZS10 Pro’s work much better for me than the Shures. I think the New Bee tips are a key reason these sound so good for the kit. Thanks for the links.

I can’t say enough about how awesome the FD-7 is. I have it mated to my eDRUMin controlling the Pearl Mimic Pro, and it is exquisite!

those inears are hella cheap even for us, slav broke squad. I would buy them because my sennheiser on-ear dont block hiting cymbals that good and it bothers me to be honest and with in ears i can always put those construction worker ear covers.

a fiver for that foam thingy isnt bad but shipping would be probably ridiculous to me

Great vid! When I moved from acoustic to edrums, I left a lot behind apart from pedals, throne etc. But the best thing I went back for and use all the time is my drum dial. The Roland manual says to tension the heads before using them, but doesn’t say what tension or how to achieve it. The dial allows me to get even tension on each lug, and once I’ve found a tension I like it’s easy to get back to it. Correct head tension can be important in minimising hot spots, and is good practice anyway.

What’s the difference between the KZ ZS10 pros from your link, and the Linsoul KZ ZS10 Pros, and several other brands that list as the same model on Amazon?

    Kay zee Kay zet? 😂😂

  12. Toby Segar on December 3, 2021 at 10:59 am

Move yourself to the right in the vid

  13. Mr. Tummy on December 3, 2021 at 10:59 am

I’d add drop cloth to place over kit when not in use, to keep clean 🙂

About the FD7 , the rubber inside it is much better than the ones comming with the FD8…. It doesnt stiffen and has a slippy material on top of it ( so no need for vaseline ) … i have one from a TD5 kit and it is still responding perfectly …

Couldn’t follow what you were saying about the vh-11, does the foam washer work with it?

  16. Douglas Lippi on December 3, 2021 at 11:05 am

Hex wrenches, drum keys, phillips screw drivers, cables, cable adapters, splitters, surge protectors, extension cords, velcro strips, tapes, bandages. Kinda basic stuff, but necessary for gigging.

  17. Keith Selles on December 3, 2021 at 11:09 am

Where are the links for the products?

  18. Stephen Mackrill on December 3, 2021 at 11:11 am

Carrying a spare rim mounted kick and snare/tom trigger is a must for me! I have a 2box Trigit kick and snare/tom just in case one of the piezo’s fail mid gig. It doesn’t often happen but it has and I haven’t been prepared.

  19. Raymond Toms on December 3, 2021 at 11:14 am

Sorry, can’t see your links. Can on your 5 tips for e-drum setup video, but not this one.

  20. Andre Fernandes on December 3, 2021 at 11:15 am

I was looking at the KZ AS10s, which has 5 drivers… Great list.. I added a Gon Bops Small Percussion Tray with Heavy-Duty Clamp to mount under my Mimic to put random stuff on!

  21. John DeF on December 3, 2021 at 11:16 am

Fd7 is nice but repair parts are harder to find. KZs are definitely worth checking out. I got the zs3 and they fit like a custom set.

I stopped using IEM’s 6 months ago after getting some on and off again tinnitus. I saw an ENT and she told to me stop using them immediately, and I haven’t had the problem since. I guess for some us the IEM’s can be little hard on the ears. I now just use beyerdynamic dt770 pros headphones and haven’t had the problem since. Just mentioning in case IEM’s start to bother any of you. If they do, you might want to switch to regular headphones to prevent potential hearing loss.

7# lock on your door whey you drum naked, um i dont know what from experience.

  24. Brian on December 3, 2021 at 11:23 am

I usually buy the double kick pads and cut them into two equal semi circle shapes so l get two pads for the price of 1 , This obviously only works if you’re a single kick drum player but it saves me money and I always have a back up in my drum bag.

  25. jezusmylord on December 3, 2021 at 11:24 am

I use the same patch but its clear and can recommend it too, gets the job done, I use it on KD-10

  26. Bike Builder on December 3, 2021 at 11:24 am
