Danny Trejo helped make Raul the Ghoul one of my favorite characters in the whole of fallout.

The funny thing about Mark Hammill in Spyro is that you can absolutely recognize his unique delivery, even if the voice itself is distorted beyond recognition.

  8. Philip Griessel on March 14, 2023 at 6:19 am

What about David Tennant in Just Cause 3?

  9. Rinraiden on March 14, 2023 at 6:20 am

Sleeping Dogs is such an incredible game but they really did drop the ball with the romances in that game. I was really confused when Emma Stone’s character quickly disappeared from the game.

  10. docette2015 on March 14, 2023 at 6:20 am

It probably says something about me that I didn’t recognize at least half the names on this list — I mean, Emma Stone, Steve Carrell, and Elijah Wood are gimmes, but as someone who never watched "Heroes. . ." Yeah, had NO idea who you were talking about with the original voice of Kairi. Then again, I’ve also never played a Kingdom Hearts game, soooo. . .

Yvonne Strahovski, Australian actress who was in major productions like 24, Dexter, The Predator (2018), and The Tomorrow War.

She played Miranda in the Mass Effect series

Elijah Wood has been in a number of video games including Broken Age, 11-11: Memories Retold, and God of War 3.

Mike: Here’s the Outlaw Sports series of games, the most noughties games ever made.

Kingdom Hearts is the only reason I knew who Hayden Pannetiere was while growing up.

I frankly can’t say as I’m surprised Sir Patrick Stewart’s portrayal of Khelben Arunsun across from the late Michael Clarke Duncan’s Ygorrl the Slaad Lord in "Demon Stone" is going unnoticed; definitely a pity, though. Excellent stuff, for Forgotten Realms fans, if you ask me.

Um *pushes up my nerd glasses* Technically you had 8 Huge celebs because Mickey Mouse
reprised his role of Mickey in Kingdom hearts. /s

Deadly Creatures certainly could use a remake. Or a sequel. I really liked playing as the scorpion, but the tarantula seemed a bit more wonky in the gameplay aspects. Also, I like how the tarantula is just "oh, I need to survive this snake", while the scorpion just kinda hears a voice or something telling it to kill a human armed with a shotgun. One of the more difficult boss fights, as he can just insta-kill yo with his boots or the shotgun. Honestly, I’d think that sequel might be the better option. In the ending, these 2 creatures opted to leave eahother alone and go off in differing directions. So, it might be kinda fun to see them wind up actually needing to team up or something. Maybe add a few others to for a predatory A-Team with an insane wasp and a preying mantis or something.

Jane – "name a better decade than the noughties…" there isn’t one and I think in 1999 we all thought how was the 2000s going to beat the last 5 years, but it happened, somehow 🙌

  19. Jean S. on March 14, 2023 at 6:29 am

Maybe not a huge celebrity, but I did got impressed when discovered that Anna Gunn was the lost ghost and former Guardian of Balance Ariel on the Legacy of Kain series.

  20. Andrew Endres on March 14, 2023 at 6:34 am

I never heard of any of these people

  21. TwerkfromHome on March 14, 2023 at 6:35 am

Chris Pratt was almost cast as a cardboard box in Metal Gear Solid 5 except HE HAS ZERO TALENT AND COULDNT PULL IT OFF.

  22. OctoberRaven on March 14, 2023 at 6:35 am

Also, Civ has had some pretty heavy hitters as narrorators

The Welsh accent wasn’t to bad compared to Robert Downey Jr in Dr Dolittle.

  24. Seth A. Campbell on March 14, 2023 at 6:37 am

My personal favorite is Peter Gabriel doing a voice in Myst IV: Revelation. Honestly, he’s one of the better actors in the game!

  25. JStone on March 14, 2023 at 6:37 am

I want to play deadly creatures

Saints Row 2 is awesome. The rest of them are trash.

  28. Vlad Yvhv on March 14, 2023 at 6:41 am

For voice actors, I’ve noticed Dwight "HM Murdock" Schultz has done a fair amount of voice acting in games and cartoons. Sometimes simply listed in "additional voices", sometimes in roles such as Harmon Smith in Killer 7.

  29. JStone on March 14, 2023 at 6:42 am

Now I know that voice I often thought I knew that girls voice in saints row but I just couldn’t put my finger onit or I didn’t pay attention to the actors behind the voices docomentary for saints row 1to4

  30. Xatni on March 14, 2023 at 6:44 am

I still remember being floored to learn that Roxas in KH2 was Jesse McCartney, who was a pretty famous pop star in his own right at the time KH2 was released. Well… maybe a bit past the height of his career by then, but it was still a name that 14-year-old me would’ve immediately recognized and been amazed by!

  31. Nick Bauerly on March 14, 2023 at 6:47 am

Sleeping Dogs is one of those games that definitely deserved at least one sequel. Voice talent aside, this for its time was one of the best open world games around. Throw Kung Fu on top of that, and I think this series could have given GTA a run for its money had the developer not gone under. Don’t forget the beautiful Kelly Hu was also in this one.

BTW, just did a quick IMDB search, and Donnie Yen is set to lead the live action version of Sleeping Dogs. This should be great.

  32. Arson WALZ Hilbig on March 14, 2023 at 6:48 am

Can’t believe that was Fassbender, incredible!

  33. Zerik media on March 14, 2023 at 6:49 am

I just started playing sleeping dogs again for the first time in years so that first entry was an awesome one for me!

  34. PhenyxHawker on March 14, 2023 at 6:50 am

Andy Serkis as King Bohan in Heavenly Sword (2007) and Brad Dourif as Sevedro in Myst:Exile.

I was honestly pleasantly suprised to see Dwayne Johnson starring as The Rock in the WWE games, he is truely everywhere :^)

  36. Tj K on March 14, 2023 at 6:53 am

Yup. Super thanks for that warning! Lol.

  37. Deedric Kee on March 14, 2023 at 6:55 am

Awesome. I’m definitely here because of "Sleeping Dogs. One of my top favorite games in the world. I remember playing back on release date and I have been in love with it since. Emma did great. Amanda is my favorite female character in the game. I was playing on ps4 and I had no idea celebrities were in the game back in 2014.

  38. OctoberRaven on March 14, 2023 at 6:55 am

Mark Hammil plays Goro Majima in the US version of the original PS2 Yakuza.

  39. JStone on March 14, 2023 at 6:55 am

Funny aye every video game chracter looks like the real person with suttle differences added

Who cares about the pedowood elites?

  41. D on March 14, 2023 at 6:58 am

4:13 if they got Lacey Chabert (megs original voice actor) to do it in Sr4 that would of been the most amazing family guy joke just saying

  42. Dirk Melo-Jordan on March 14, 2023 at 6:59 am

We have Emma Stone at home

  43. Jon the Jinn on March 14, 2023 at 7:01 am

Great vid as always. I have a few suggestions:
Ron Pearlman in the 2008 reboot of Turok.
You’ve mentioned it in another video, but David Tennant was in Just Cause 3.
Billy Dee Williams was pretty determined that no-one else should play Lando (a principle that couldn’t be followed with Solo, and see how that was received), so he did a bunch of games.
And while probably a bit too niche to be considered a huge celebrity, I think Mike and Andy appreciates that Rob Van Dam was in Saints Row 3 and 4…

  44. Maccaebus on March 14, 2023 at 7:02 am

Saints Row was *stacked,* weirdly enough. Ben King was played by Michael Clark Duncan in the first game! And they had Michael Dorn as one of the villains in the sequel. And, of course, who can forget Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Johnny Gat in every game?

  45. D J-Y on March 14, 2023 at 7:03 am

Fun fact, Spamton from Deltarune is actually voiced by
    [[HYPERLINK BLOCKED]]

  46. Sean Leonard on March 14, 2023 at 7:04 am

I felt dumb not recognizing the father in fallout 3 as Liam Neeson until many years after playing the game. His voice is so iconic.

  47. Mike Danger on March 14, 2023 at 7:05 am

I was pretty amazed when I learned that Roxas from Kingdom Hearts 2 was actually teeny-bopper star Jesse McCartney. Granted, I wouldn’t have known him from a bar of soap but I thought that seemed pretty wild at the time.

  48. JStone on March 14, 2023 at 7:08 am

I never played sleeping dogs but I will now since watching this video

  49. Quelana on March 14, 2023 at 7:09 am

Obviously, everybody already knows about Isabella Rossellini’s star turn in certified classic Goosebumps: Escape from Horrorland

  50. C Zam on March 14, 2023 at 7:09 am
