I like the display adapter. Have a laptop with a busted screen I could use as a desktop and this will help. Also the micro to c adapter. I already have one but liked the Keychain feature as well. Tx

  15. buffalo1700 on October 9, 2022 at 5:14 am

Those magnetic plug Ins would be perfect for my PlayStation controllers

  16. Chris Gauci on October 9, 2022 at 5:16 am

Just an FYI, I know I’m 3 years old, but those magnetic charging cables are perfect for wireless mouses. Run the cable from your PC and secure it to your desk via a mouse bungee or like a paper clip. And put the type c, or even micro usb, into the mouse. Makes charging mouses perfect

but you have to be careful with the magnetic cable for your smartphone because the tip of the small adapter thing the outer ring of it chopped off when it fell down on the top side of the phone so not on the side where the adapter was

I’d like to confirm if a usb type C port on a PC could then have a usb 2.0 hub plugged to it, which would then have a usb 2.0 male to usb 2.0 motherboard 9 pin header connection, and that header connection be plugged into an rgb controller for those who have modern enough itx mobos to sync their fans and and led strips despite not having an eligible usb 2.0 header built to their motherboard but just a 3.0 header. I ask this because I am aware a person in my scenario could convert their single 3.0 usb header to a 2.0 usb header with an adapter cable and control the rgb that way, but I don’t want to choose between keeping either the 3.0 functionality or sacrificing it to have the 2.0 rgb motherboard headers or not. I drove to Tustin’s microcenter and back today only to realize my itx board had no spot for the usb 2.0 header, just a 3.0 header, so off I go for a 3.0 to 2.0 adapter cable tomorrow.

Hi, I used to connect my external hard drive to my TV directly to watch photos and videos. Now that the files/folders got larger, TV processor can’t handle it. Any recommendation for multimedia player to connect to TV HDMI from external HDD or SSD usb 3 or Type -C? Thanks.

WHAT is taking so long! I mean we should have usb-c… lamps, mini fridges, electric knifes, solar panels, I could go on, but such a better and easier way to go. And when’s this 100 watts power delivery coming around?

  41. Bitwit on October 9, 2022 at 5:43 am

If I have to re-upload another video this month for any reason, I’ll give away a high-end gpu. You have my word!
Aslo, I always swap metal/aluminum and iron/steel in my head. Must be my brain. Or my mind? OK I’ll stop.

  42. Colum Richardson on October 9, 2022 at 5:43 am

I have a usb c connector on my Corsair 680x but no port for it on my tomahawk max. My fault cause I didn’t know much about computers when picking stuff up, but I assumed there would be one considering the type c in the io.

  43. The Bigman Says on October 9, 2022 at 5:44 am

I have one of these type c on back of dark 299 evga. and a cable . i plug note into port with cable, and nothing happens.

  47. Geek in the Garden on October 9, 2022 at 5:50 am

of course USB C is just the specification for the connector, its still possible to have a USB 2 connection over USB c – there’s some companies who put a USB c connection without saying its USB 2, USB 3.2 gen1, USB 3.2 gen 2 or USB 3.2 gen 2×2 (as if they wouldn’t shout this out from the roof tops) just to hoodwink buyers.

Don’t you just hate how the USB people messed up when they kept changing the names of the DIFFERENT USB 3 types
