My daughter’s family recently moved to a new house, and their cell service is fine everywhere but in their home for some reason. She told me they were just about ready to buy a signal booster, and I sent a link to this video. She set up WIFI calling and called again to ask how it sounded. The quality was lacking somewhat, with missed words and sound fading out a little. I got on her router remotely, renamed the 5gz band (Xfinity had name them the same) and had her disconnect from the 2.4 ghz and re-connect her phone’s WIFI to 5gz, and it made a world of difference since the 5gz band was more than twice the speed of the 2.4. She called back, and it was loud and clear. This video saved them the $190 they were going to spend on a booster.

I have been using the same SIM card for like forever and still no issues, when someone tells you to turn your phone off remove the SIM rub it on the right ear of a black cat then put it back and turn on it was the rebooting than done the job 😂😂

If worst come to worst and you need to make a call when you seem to have no service where you are at you will find that you can still send and receive text even though your phone says no service.

I remember having to walk to make a call. My pager would go off and I had to walk to a pay phone. Uphill both ways. In the snow.

Thanks guys just in the last couple of months I haven’t been able to get a decent connection. We don’t even have 5G, but I do have it on 5G auto …ever since I updated to 16.1.1. My phone and my iPad keeps freezing when I’m in my apps. Apple suggested deleting the apps and reinstalling them, but it hasn’t fixed it. I live in Australia and Optus is my service provider …You got any other suggestions what could be going on. Truly frustrating when you pay so much for your Apple phones and iPads you expect them to run fine not have problems with them once you put your updates on.. I’ve been following you guys for years. I be much appreciated if you’d have any extra suggestions.. Julie from Australia.

  18. Craig Brabant on January 26, 2023 at 3:39 am

I don’t have that dbi #. More importantly, “iPhone back up”, my phone says “can’t back up not enough storage” and want me to buy more storage which I really don’t want to. I really don’t even want to back up my phone because I don’t have stuff that I need to worry about losing but I hat seeing that red circle all the time.

  19. tamtamtt63 on January 26, 2023 at 3:41 am

If you didn’t go so fast I wouldn’t have to keep reminding

  22. Eric on January 26, 2023 at 3:43 am

That option to switch androids off of network mode has been removed or gone as long as I’ve owned my galaxys

  23. hasv e on January 26, 2023 at 3:43 am

I’m on Verizon, 1 mile from the tower no buildings between me and the tower and I get 0 to 2 bars. 2 bars if it connects me with band 5. 0 to 1 bars 70% of the time because it connects me with band 2.

  24. Kathy Humphrey on January 26, 2023 at 3:44 am

I get a very short page using the number sequence you gave and there is no dbm info.🤔

  25. wesley gomes brilhante on January 26, 2023 at 3:44 am

Dude maybe where you are 5G is bad but t-mobile here in Deerfield Beach,Florida works like a charm as a matter of fact since the 5G came up took a while before the 5G towers were not everywhere and the first 5G phone was 5G ready but they merge with sprint my iPhone 12 pro max and the Samsung galaxy s22 ultra is very good

  26. Kim's vlog on January 26, 2023 at 3:45 am

You’re forgetting to mention that each phone has something called a bandwidth which, depends on it’s size, is actually what determines how much of a signal your device can pick up & you should pick a device w/ good bandwidth…the cell towers are what give off the "radio" signal& your devices bandwidth will determine how much radio signal is picked up.

  27. Brent Haymon on January 26, 2023 at 3:50 am

I have T-Mobile and where I live in Zachary, Louisiana I get a good strong 5G signal on my Samsung galaxy A13 phone.

  28. Wreckof theHesperas on January 26, 2023 at 3:50 am

Updates require wi-fi… not available at home and I’m 8-10 miles from it. Without transportation. Screwed.

  29. Curtis Muise on January 26, 2023 at 3:51 am

You don’t use gestures on android. Lol

  30. Joshua Espinosa on January 26, 2023 at 3:58 am

I updated my software on iPhone and my wifi and Bluetooth is grayed out, I did 16.1

  31. davezgaming on January 26, 2023 at 3:59 am

  32. NC Racin Channel 704 on January 26, 2023 at 4:01 am

I have a Samsung Galaxy 832 5G and I know the setting that you’re talking about mine is set on 5G Auto so it does go back and forth every once in a blue moon but usually it only does that when my data gets up so high for the month and I have Metro PC and this is actually a T-Mobile cell phone

  33. jsnanax4 on January 26, 2023 at 4:02 am

OK> I have an Android LG40 and there is 2 different LTE settings. 1st is LTE/CDMA and 2nd is LTE/GSM/UMTS is one of these better than the other? Thank you for this information.

    6:50 i do not have a RSRP on my iphone 13 pro…..

  35. Laura B. on January 26, 2023 at 4:03 am

Is there any difference between cell phone booster vs. wificalling?

  36. D B on January 26, 2023 at 4:05 am

5G not good for any living thing and is not about "better/faster" service.🙄

  37. Michael Fryer on January 26, 2023 at 4:05 am

I don’t see an option on my Verizon s22 Ultra. Stupid Verizon!

  38. Switchblade Queen Revamped on January 26, 2023 at 4:06 am

With t-mobile you could have full signals bars and 1mbps speeds and be in a "great" service area

  39. Lynda Campbell on January 26, 2023 at 4:08 am

My modem is set on 2.4 G my iPhone only works on 5G the spinning wheel will not go away I’ve tried to put it on 2.4 G and it keeps switching to 5G

  40. Lipe Kit Rinehart on January 26, 2023 at 4:11 am

For anyone who’s doing this with iOS 16.1.
The 7:01 trick does work. However, the RSRP setting that they are talking about has been moved to another menu.

When you are being switched , look at the LTE menues and then click on "RsrpRsrqSinr" and then you can see " rsrp ".
At least this worked for me.

  41. mike oniones on January 26, 2023 at 4:11 am

On my 2022 zflip3 5g I only had carrier under networks or automatic.

  42. Tiki God on January 26, 2023 at 4:13 am

I’ve had more problems than fix with wifi calling. When I turn it on, half my calls won’t go through from other people much less texts. Most calls won’t even go through when I’m trying to call out with wifi calling.

  43. Peria Been Sawi Salad on January 26, 2023 at 4:15 am

    Guys you are awesome

  44. wargodsix on January 26, 2023 at 4:16 am

Weird thing I have the reason why I’m watching , I upgraded from xr to 13pro and my signal became worse

  45. Janice on January 26, 2023 at 4:17 am

    I don’t have a dbm listed.

  46. PJ Pax on January 26, 2023 at 4:17 am

Or you can just use calls over Wi-Fi……….. I totally wrote this comment before you all went through the calls over wi-if. Also, carriers have most cell phone makers enable this by default as it off loads traffic from their services to a standard wi-if internet connection.🎃

  47. Nick F. on January 26, 2023 at 4:18 am

Switched back to 4g because when I used 5g it would cut out and show no service in certain areas I frequently go to.

  48. Eric on January 26, 2023 at 4:19 am

Yall shady for using 2 different phones to show the network settings. Lol that option to turn off 5g for android has been removed for a long time

  49. Michael Flores on January 26, 2023 at 4:21 am

Go outside? That wasn’t really a hack. More of common sense. Not the best hack list. Why have we replaced the word tips for hack. Hack denotes outside the normal would not be commonly known.
