Laptop batteries are on blacklist by default, when you buy one. Diablo 2 has magical power to fix thermal problem, by playing it only on battery. Level 1 quests achieved, fixes brand new memory effect, that is when the + is pumped into the – of different cells. Level 2 does nothing. Level 3 quests fix second hand used batteries, the same issue caused by illegal operating systems. I am still experimenting with it, looks like it’s working.

You can’t really do a Thin & Light without the X1 Carbon

I feel like in this review they could’ve added the asus rog flow x13 an 13 inch laptop that is slim and packs quite the performance. Not only that but it is only a kg and it can be used as an editing and gaming laptop. It’s battery can vary as it is an amd powered laptop to about one day. I think that this laptop could’ve deserved its spot in this list.

Watching from my iPad Pro M1 11”just as I’m finally considering getting a magic keyboard… which is still hella expensive. Currently using a cheap BT keyboard for on-the-go writing.

Best laptop based on what? Looks or other characteristics

  18. R K on December 19, 2022 at 1:29 am

Apple laptops don’t have touchscreens or pen support. And lets not forget all the class action lawsuits do to poor build quality.
    – connectivity issues
    -green screen
    -cracked screen
    -thermal throttling
    -keyboar isses
And this is jus on the last 6 years! No wonder MBs only have 8% laptop market share…

I didn’t find the information on your channel about PWM affection on eyes as the most specific issue of OLED screens. What do you think about that? Thank you in advance, Very interesting to know your opinion

When I was going off to college, I wanted a 15in laptop that I could also game on. Another category that I absolutely wanted was a 2-in-1 because I didn’t have to carry around 2 computers. So that left me with between Samsung and HP, and HP had the newer, at the time, a processor with AMD. AMD processors had better heat dispersion and battery life, so I chose the HP, specifically the Hp Envy X360 15. With the student discount, I got it for about $1100, which is an excellent price for what I was getting. It also came with HDMI, 2 USB-a ports, and a full-sized sd reader with upgradable storage. So HP is an excellent choice for students. The specter line is too expensive for what you were getting over the Envy. So including the Envy line would be much appreciated.

  21. PhlyDaisy on December 19, 2022 at 1:32 am

It‘d be better to include reference prices for each of these as their specifications and prices vary. The one that can fit your budget & need is the best.

I currently have Samsung Galaxy book2 360 and the keyboard is great, thin, and light, but the battery life is shorter than what I expected which is only 5 to 6 hours at most. Of course, I had expected 8 hours or so. I am considering either MacBook Air M1 or Lenovo Yoga 7i 14 inches i5 and I still don’t know which one to get. I will be mainly using in audio call perhaps a video call and I have got tired of using a cable headset. I am hoping a laptop that give a good quality voice call with a Bluetooth headset. Any inputs would be appreciated.

  30. Bgrolor on December 19, 2022 at 1:47 am

XPS 17 9710 user here. The battery life is terrible, it comes with audio software problems, the bottom fans can’t be covered, but besides those expectations the rest are average, but it’s definitely not worth the money

  31. Johnny B on December 19, 2022 at 1:47 am

Yeah, don´t get a DELL XPS. DELL´s quality control on their XPS range absolutely sucks. Their warranty and customer support also sucks. If they sell you a dud and can screw you over and get out of fixing or replacing it, they will.
They literally sell products with known faults / major issues, and rather than doing a product recall they just see if they can get away with it or not.
I know this from personal experience with a XPS and Precision M that I had.
You will find it difficult to find such issues if you Google them because DELL controls their support pages / forum so that any such threads get locked or removed from their forum.
Of course reviewers unfortunately often know nothing of this and can´t really take that factor into account when making a recommendation or review.
The last two laptops that I had were from ASUS, and both are still going strong.
    cheers
    JB

Bought a Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 a month ago and I’m returning it today. The Microsoft installation system is terrible. Too many PIN error issues. Please do yourself a favor and look for a more credible laptop company.

some thoughts and feedback to consider, 1. nice intro to the different laptops, 2. but…. that’s where I feel improvements can be made. Everyone works for a living, maybe a chart that shows the pros and cons of each laptop, performance, resolution, functionality trade-offs, known reliability issues, design flaws, etc… to help consumers who don’t have an extra penny to spend choose wisely. 3. the entire video, scripted more from a pro consumer mindset. To be more specific, there are only a few categories to consider for purchases, performance, differentiating innovation or new tech, form & function, reliability will I need to repurchase, due to bad material, design, manufacturing, and finally material used, quality. and most importantly, VALUE for my money. All that in a easy to read format, revealing in 30 sec, who’s the king, and which is the frog

  35. nomebear on December 19, 2022 at 1:52 am

As a systems engineer I sometimes I find myself using the reviewed Dell XPS and the HP 15-eg2055cl, and I hate them equally. Light reflection, flatness of the keyboards, and spacing of the keys makes for a frustrating experience in inefficiency. Lenovo’s keyboard is the standard others should be measured by. I also use the LG Gram and find it well made and acceptable.
