I鈥檓 considering acer laptop but do I get the 2022 one or the 2023 one if I can afford it? I just got rid of two new 2022 faulty hp omen laptops.

A thin and light gaming laptop is like buying a 4 cylinder chevy camaro. What’s the point?

Dave 2D made a great video about the Lenovo 2 screen laptop

LG Gram really? Intel Iris Xe gpu??? Are you kidding me?

Why is nobody actually giving Acer the credit for being the first company to have 3D screens on the laptops? Come on do your homework guys! Seems like all the reviewers are just copypasting the Asus promo texts into their reviews. Asus just does better job on the marketing front.

    Auto 3d laptop? Amazing!!

  7. PSYCHO on January 16, 2023 at 3:15 am

6:41 Do NOT confuse Mini LED LCD with Micro LED.

Mini LED LCD is INFERIOR to OLED in picture quality. Micro LED will be the one to replace OLED many years into the future.

LG gram is call gram because it鈥檚 under 1Kg at 999grams. Something Americans won鈥檛 understand.

  9. Robert Jahn on January 16, 2023 at 3:17 am

Why do a lot of gaming laptops have an edge sticking out behind the screen?

  10. Enoch Gitonga on January 16, 2023 at 3:20 am

I鈥檓 really excited for Windows 12 leak and the AMD Phoenix APUs that includes the Zen4 CPU, RDNA3 GPU and XDNA AI architectures – the Ryzen 7040HS rated at 35-54 watts on TSMC 4nm promising 30+ hrs of battery life.
I鈥檝e lost love for Windows but the leak by Microsoft CEO made me excited to imagine an OS that borrowed from Chrome OS cloud functionality and fused them with native processing all while leveraging AI. I鈥檓 hoping for a more seamless UI for touch, pen, keyboard and controller inputs better than what Windows 10X promised.

All the reviews of the XPS 13 plus I’ve seen said the borderless trackpad was no issue. I don’t see why borders would be a problem when the trackpad is large and centred

An engine running laptop isn’t good enough we need gaming evolution.

  13. The Jagged Age on January 16, 2023 at 3:24 am

The problem with using gaming laptops as work from home desktop replacements is that they just get too hot at the keyboard & palm rest areas too use comfortably for any sustained period of time, even on the lightest of workloads.

have been looking for a ‘new’ laptop recently to replace my 2013 second hand x1 carbon…been checking out dell xps 13, x1 carbon, extreme, and nano…however ended with a new second hand nano gen1, durability is one thing, being poor is one thing…

Good coverage. A shame you didn鈥檛 cover the new Razer Blade laptops. Also a bit more coverage of ASUS models would have been good too. Like their most popular Zenbook and Vivobook Pro lines.

  19. Zay Hansdah on January 16, 2023 at 3:31 am

Jeez someone strap the laptops down so they don’t jump at journalists!

  20. aspire on January 16, 2023 at 3:33 am

Acer had the stereoscopic 3d thing last year with the predator laptops

  21. Zyronic Tech on January 16, 2023 at 3:33 am

Mini LED is not going to replace OLED. That will be Micro LED. That’s a completely different technology.

  22. John Ward on January 16, 2023 at 3:33 am

Why would you hide the touchpad!?

  23. Chiu Bunny on January 16, 2023 at 3:34 am

It seems perfect to me that manufacturers have used Thunderbolt ports as a standard in low, medium and high-end laptops, it was completely necessary since the USB-C standard had the law the proximity to Thunderbolt, this port is for content creators who need to connect many professional monitors or for Music Producer’s who need an audio interface without interference and latency problems.

Oled are not good for office work or long time reading because of the refresh flicker. Correct yourself

  25. Rashaad Lawson on January 16, 2023 at 3:39 am

My best bet that the new laptop computers including alien ware computer brands will hit the store shelves this year and beyond. And to tell the truth my current laptop is obsolete and I’m jealous.

For 1700 gaming laptop -> 500 dollar ps5, 500 dollar xbox series x and 700 dollars remaining for whatever maybe 4k display? Anyway 18 inch laptop plus monster power brick isn’t really portable lol.

  31. Fish Ball on January 16, 2023 at 3:45 am

The LG gram’s border light is useless, no one should expect the users to look away from the monitor to know where the border is rather than just touching it.

  32. Hop Off on January 16, 2023 at 3:46 am

That LG Gram style looks very interesting, I’d like to see how long the battery life is, how it handles smudges, and more importantly price.

  33. Electronics and More Inc. Portage IN on January 16, 2023 at 3:49 am

this is a waste of a video as the alienwware 14 is NOT the thinest 14 inch gaming laptop as the razer 14 is much thiner as well higher hardware as well!

  34. Leif Strong on January 16, 2023 at 3:51 am

I am wondering why these advanced Laptops have not gone to a very thorough voice command feature.. or maybe they have this ? " Open up 2nd Tab, and show me Marketwatch page " . ? Nice Video and love the new HD Screens.

Glad to see LG鈥檚 Gram range FINALLY getting some attention by these more mainstream tech outlets. It鈥檚 still less than what they deserve but at least it鈥檚 a start. Asians have had to work harder to get recognised anyway so what to do. LG have been churning out the best general purpose laptops by a huge margin since at least 2018, but nary a mention almost anywhere until maybe 2-3 months back. Hard work & patience pays off in the end.

I like this events, I just wish there was a invention to make money so I can afford all this gadget oh wait I did too bad that getting all this gadget is not really my goal. People are actually dying in the real world. Nature are depleting and all we can do is add more "things" in our name. Do what you want and I’ll just do what I can 馃槑

Why do people knee deep in the Apple ecosystem even go to CES? There’s no apple products there

  45. Andy Leung on January 16, 2023 at 4:03 am

I鈥檇 like to see benchmark, especially for the one at 7:52, dual screen with keyboard stand. That could be a super powered travelling setup for me.

  47. blaster915 on January 16, 2023 at 4:05 am

Anyone buying an 18 inch laptop honestly screw you, just buy a desktop and take it with you.

  48. liquidsnakex1 King on January 16, 2023 at 4:07 am

Most of these dont even fall into "BEST" laptops at CES! Should have called it "Random laptops at CES"

  49. Nick B on January 16, 2023 at 4:08 am

Need more sub 12" laptops. I’m tired if having to look at Chinese crowd funded laptops to get a properly spec’d small form factor laptop (see: GPD Win Max 2 and OneMix 4S).

The Yoga Book 9i should have been 10" or 11" just like the old Yoga Books but instead it’s an ungainly lump of a machine. Very disappointing.
