Research shows that the best way to learn a language is to have authentic experiences with it with Comprehensible Input.

Rather than boring grammar lessons, we provide free interesting listening experiences for learners of Spanish. By listening to our stories, culture explanations and games, you will get used to real Spanish as it’s used in context, and develop a native-like intuition for the grammar and the vocabulary, together with a clear pronunciation. The videos try to be easy enough for a complete beginner to start picking up the language.

Comprehensible Input means that the videos try to use basic Spanish as much as possible and be easy enough for a complete beginner in the language to get the gist of the story and start picking up vocabulary. That way you’ll get that i+1 necessary to make fast progress in the language.

LOVE playing the Assassin’s Creed series in Spanish, because there’s just SO MUCH dialogue, even when casually roaming, etc.

  3. Reiju Gips on January 9, 2022 at 2:24 pm

This is amazing, I was able to comprehend what you were saying (I can only speak basic spanish)

  4. BaackTheBaptist on January 9, 2022 at 2:24 pm

Metro 2033/Last Light and Exodus also have full Spanish Dialogue

  5. Jack Dempsey on January 9, 2022 at 2:27 pm

This is the ultimate comprehensible input for a lot of people! I can only watch videos and listen to podcasts for so long. But I can play games for hours! Such a gamechanger for me and my language learning!!

Empeze jugar Grim Fandango y me encanta Manny Calavera.

Por ejemplo The Talos Principle, Tomb Raider, Alien Isolation, Close to the sun, Watch Dogs, Portal, Detroit Become Human, League of Legends y más. Gracias 🙂

What level would you recommend being at to get the most out of these games? Specifically assassins creed and cyberpunk. I’m almost finished watching all the beginner videos, so I started watching 1-2 intermediates a day to gauge where I’m at. Beginner is a breeze and I feel I understand intermediate videos pretty well, but it definitely depends on the video and person talking haha. Anyways thanks for the great vid Pablo!

I already have Skyrim, Zelda and a bunch of AC games! Will definitely play them in Spanish! Especially AC black flag which takes place in the Caribbean as a pirate raiding Spanish ships lmao

There is lots of language we can read in Animal Crossing New Horizons. It is the language we use when walking around town talking to neighbors, shopping in stores, visiting museums. You can learn the Spanish names of lots of fish, bugs, shells, fossils, clothing and furniture plus lots more.

It isn’t fantasy language. It is the real language we use today. It is also very easy to pause and look up translations while playing. The language stays on screen until you respond. I use Google Translate on my tablet and set it to translate via the camera.

Finding a game that uses Latin American Spanish is next to impossible.

I don’t like European Spanish. Especially that lithp…Though I do wish Latin America would use Vosotros. It seems silly to leave it out, and it seems silly that I sort of have to choose.

    7:15 I mean come on…

Gracias.

You can play Skyrim and AC: Black Flag in Spanish on the Switch, you just download the language packs as DLC. As well as the Assassin’s Creed games Ubisoft dub most of their games into multiple languages so Watch Dogs etc. as well.

My recommendation for great CI is Until Dawn on Playstation, it’s nonstop clear, important dialogue and is actually fun too. Similar games are Detroit Become Human and Heavy Rain.

He estado aprendiendo español durante 18 meses y he jugado The Last of Us (PS3 original) en español.
