Straight talk is full of shit they data cap you at 200gb, told me right over the phone its in their terms and conditions, yet still continue to advertise "UNLIMITED WOW WHOO!!!!".

Does visible do this? I was just wondering because I —–*runs out of data and cuts out*

Visible generally has the same coverage as VZW but with a major difference. Visible will have no coverage (no voice, texting, data) in the areas where VZW downgrades to 3G, 2G, or 1rxtt – those areas where VZW leases towers from small, rural network providers. I like using Visible but people should check the Visible coverage map and NOT assume they will have the exact same coverage as VZW. The Visible coverage map is really easy to use. You just plug in your address and it is easy to zoom in and confirm their network covers your own area well.

Boost mobile dwnl may be most times 7 to 10 mbps . sometimes 30 or say 50 mbps… rarely. Upload below 2 most time and once in a while 5 mbps plus to 6 or 7.. Ping almost 100 plus all the time rarely below 100… Pretty poor service from my measure. Yes live tv and radio and YouTube run fine. . Youtube. Does buffer tex messaging does fail or slow. Cery slow. No. Group messages without wifi and cellular data being on Sametime. Use data only works sends message and group messages. Without cellular data no group messages. And many times even with only cell data. Still slow and failed texting.. That’s why am leaving them. 5x area near Arizona. Was not like this few months back. East coast and west coast was fine few months back. All of this problem few months after they capped 35 gb data I use s10e.

Recently, I signed up with Yahoo Mobile. Of course, it is also owned by Verizon. Both Yahoo Mobile and Visible Wireless are basically the same. Each just operates with a different name. Thus far, I like what Yahoo Mobile provides. I use my device as a secondary device. My primary device goes through Verizon Prepaid. If I decide to acquire a third device, it will be with Visible. I am thinking about dropping Yahoo Mobile for Visible Wireless. I have yet to make up my mind. I do not know what I will end up doing.

  29. tbone on August 22, 2021 at 10:16 pm

I get unlimited text and talk, mobile hot spot, with 8GB of data from ATT. That’s plenty enough data for me. $300+ tax and fees pre pay for the year for 1 line. So $25 a month plus tax and fees comes out to $27.50 a month. $330 and I don’t have to worry about a bill for a year. Works out great for me. I have a OnePlus 7 Pro BTW. ATT sent me a Sim card and I was good to go, easy peasy.

  38. Mark B on August 22, 2021 at 10:28 pm

I enjoyed yr nice presentation. My concern is data.i see many offering unlimited data tho it is but there’s a limit of high speed data. It goes down to 2g which truthfully just for texting. That unlimited data promise is misleading, have no idea about Visible tho. Do u know if it’s unlimited 4G or throttled to 2g which is absolutely horrible. Thank you!

  39. entubadao on August 22, 2021 at 10:28 pm

Every time it’s mention "Unlimited Data", people usually forget that all carriers "cap" the speed after a certain usage amount. That might vary from slightly slower up to a virtual crawl.
Also don’t forget, that any upcoming company, will still be forced run on the Big Ones network and towers, which usually pushes them down and back on the data distribution supplied by these towers.
Also, coverage maps just mean that they might have towers on the "painted" area which, theoretically, would supply a good signal, but again, "the owner of the machine is the one who throttles the gas"… For better or for worse. My two cents…

  40. Su Freidman on August 22, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Visible has become absolutely terrible. The first three months were fine. I could run just about anything. Now I can’t get much more then 1/2 a meg for internet speed. some websites take 2 minutes to load. Same ones that popped right up a month ago. Do not use them. They seem to be throttling now! Absolutely the worst customer service in the world. Everytime you call they will put you through a canned trouble shooting sequence… back and they make you repeat it. I spent 6 hours on their site yesterday.

  41. M on August 22, 2021 at 10:30 pm

Many sites allow you to pre- check your phone for compatibility by entering phone’s IMEI # ( settings, about phone). If there isn’t a compatibility check for the particular company name, check with agency they’re using for service.
