Thank you so much for clarifying a lot of things!!! I still have one question about how when you register your LLC you had to put a physical location, so I put my house. How can I do that but not have it to where my house is subject to being taken in a lawsuit? I still want to be able to write off my rent and utilities because I will be setting up my studio in my extra bedroom, but I know my homeowner’s insurance also didn’t want me to be running a business from my home as well.

which section(s)/clause(s) related and advocate this in the state law or federal law?

  45. Anthea Wald on August 20, 2021 at 10:56 pm

Are all owner’s draws considered interest? Will an owner’s draw (within reasonable national income ranges) from years ago be at risk to be recalled to pay off any litigation I lose to? I’m trying to balance paying myself in a way I can protect my personal pay so that it isn’t considered business interest as much as it is my compensation for labor.
