I loved the inquisitive mind of the teenager!
This is the best content I have ever seen on youtube. All countries have to have such a content, because it gives the children, the new generation, curiosity and they start to learn things faster.
why did they put spotify for the teen wtf
what is the ratio of women studying computer science? Is it a 50/50?
Machines don’t learn. Machines compute. To learn, a thing is necessary; that thing is not defined yet because it’s inside the mind. Learn and compute seems to be the same thing but it’s not.
who is the expert that we see on level 4 ?
i want to see her studies..
2:05 how do you know this is not a cat or a dog? "Cats and dogs don’t wear watches." Children’s minds are amazing
I miss the super-expert level who would bring even more insight to this problematic. The AI itself.
Bro at lvl3 the woman was the one asking the question and the grad student did most of the explaining lol
Wow, her knowledge and her communication skills are excellent. She reflects the Guests talking points, and acknowledges their opinions, all while always smiling and making the learners feel comfortable, and make them open-up. This is an inspiring video, thanks for sharing… ✌
Plot twist the lady is a machine teaching the humans
gold
Her explanations are great
I like that woman
au/ra XD
is it just me or does her face look a bit stiff
Amazing vocal fry
I wanna be a machine learning engineer
De-esser next time pls. Good video ty
Wow. Hi!!! Your audio is compressed and squashed so badly it’s basically clipping.
When you render out a video, try aiming for -6db in your NLE. You want to average (basically the talking parts) to sit around -12db.
It sounds bad just cranking it up to max level. Very bad…
In all these videos, I notice the students want to engage by asking a question, but they just restate the last thing she said (with a ? at the end). xD
The expert is so cute! ✨YeAh✨ in 14:11
Machine Learning is when human teach machines to look for certain patterns that human has categorized. Only advantage machine has that it can look at billion pictures per second and human can only look at 10 images per second and arrive at a conclusion.
You tell machine cat as dog and dog as cat – machine has created its own world and perpendicular to yours/mine.
Completely in love with the fact that all of them were girls. As a girl just getting into STEM and facing all the barriers it entails not seeing many women in my field, this is super exciting and inspiring to see. Thanks Wired.
Level 0: Explain machine learning to a cat!
She’s such a good teacher!
Now ask her if she can tell the difference between a male and a female…with no need for ridiculous and illegitimate pronouns.
We need this video for AI please
Really loved to see the teenager (Lucy) asking questions and being inquiring, and props to Hilary as well for communicating so well!
No 🚹
I have to say I’m quite offended by all the splaining and complete lack of diversity.
I really only understood the explanation to a 6 year old.
I have to say that as a man I feel highly discriminated because there are only females in this video. Be ashamed for discriminating against others. This video is racist.
for anyone thinking this comment is bs : yeah thats basically our society right now
My teachers think we are level 5. This way they **** up explaining in easy way. Why don’t teachers teach the way they do it to children?
How come there was a no guy involved? Are they afraid the man would’ve mansplaned her instead? 😛
Machine learning can do all those amazing stuff and even predict future but its still being used for giving advertisements
She teaches advances machines how to learn, OBVIOUSLY she knows how to teach things to us basic monkeys of bone and flesh
Thanks , this was very helpful.
I wonder if machine learning could be used to improve this generation’s music.
Impressed to see how the "explanation" turns into more listening and discussion as she progresses toward more knowledgeable interlocutors.

A video on machine learning featuring all girls and women is like a video on Olympic sprinting featuring all white people lol
Level 7: Explain machine learning to Skynet
FYI, all 6 in this video are girls/ladies
I saw a Ted ed video that said when a computer made poetry, judges could find it 100% if the time. So for now. Poetry is a human thing.
I’m cracking up so much at:
Do you want to learn about machine learning?
Yes, because I want to become a spy.
Girl who is too smart for her own good argues for the destruction of humanity.
the teen girl is really smart
Thank you.
8:33 all AI “artists” pls listen to it carefully
