Sharing this complete quick guide I made on how you can renew your ECE (Electronics Engineer) & ECT (Electronics Technician) PRC licenses this year 2020.
Note:
—– I haven’t claimed my PRC IDs yet since my schedule is on Dec. 2020. So for questions regarding the actual claiming in PRC, I probably cannot answer as of the moment. 🙂
—– CPD:
— 15 CPD is needed for both ECE & ECT renewal but you may renew from now up to Dec. 2021 without the required CPD. Please note that on your next renewal (2023 or 2024) you do need to submit your CPD requirement that time plus the 15 CPD that you are supposed to submit now. This can be indicated on the Undertaking part in your PRC Renewal Application Forms
— From IECEP:
“-Newlyboard passers exempted for CPD Units for their first PRC License renewal
-OFW exempted for CPD units (Bring COGs and OEC)”
—– “A surcharge of P30.00 (baccalaureate degree) and P28.00 (non- baccalaureate degree) is added if PIC is renewed twenty (20) days after birth month.” — From PRC site. Just learned that there is an additional fee for PRC late renewals.

Same here sched for renewal this week. No cpd units required only certificate of good standing from IECEP and online filing for yuur schedule renewal

Pwede po ba mag paregister member ng iecep dito po sa Bataan.Hindi po kasi ako makapunta sa manila.para makakuha ng COGS

Expired license ko last 2017 p. Possible pb makarenew kht wala cpd?
Sinu po nakapag try di sumipot sa scheduled date? malalagot ba? wala kasing cancel eh…
Reason for cancellation:
Malapit na kasi birthday ko, pag nag parenew ako ngaun 2023 nakalagay kasii lagpas 3 years pag 2024 birthday.. so hintayin ko nalang matapos birthday ko para magrenew…

Hello po, nag submit na po ako ng undertaking nung nagrenew ako ng 2019. Bale sa Feb 2022 na ang expiration ng PRC ID ko. 45 CPD points na po ba yung kailangan kong makuha para makapagrenew sa 2022?
Pwede nadin po ba ako magrenew ngayong buwan kung meron na ako nung 45 CPD points? Para di ko na antayin yung next year bago magparenew.
Nageexpire po ba yung CPD points?
