As call of duty trains mass shooters to carry out school shootings, red dead redemption online has now trained me to ride horses and also I am now able to make illegal moonshine and I sell it at locations on a horse in my town.

so your saying video games lead to aggresive behavior? no most of us are just introverts who hold down our rage but you just burst our bubble at the wrong time and it lets all the rage out

I loved the way you weighed both pro and cons. Everyone in youtube is just supporting and justifying 1 side, but you are weighing both! Like if you agree! 👏

Videogames are like regular games, it’s just that they are in many ways better. Now, as a gamer, I must say that you should play videogames and there is nothing wrong with that, but if it requires something that negatively impacts your personality, then you should quite simply just stop playing that particular game.

Books can be a good way to divert a child’s attention. Check out a cute book called Funny Expressions. It teaches kids (aged 7 thru 11) common English expressions and idioms, and it’s been curated/tailored for that audience. https://www.amazon.com/dp/1659672937

The constant hours in front of the game and non production in younger kids is ridiculous. This kid won’t even wash his ass before playing his game when he wakes up in the morning. He will get the game back once he shows some improvement. Not about to be a looser sorry. And know all people who play games are not losers. Some kids just play it to much… That’s mine.

    I LOVE SHOOTING HAHAHAHAHAHA

  37. Coco Piny on October 16, 2021 at 9:15 am

Shooting and killing in vedogames causes anger and aggression is absolute bull, a killer is not made by video games, a killer is made because of him bieng abused and mistreated his entire life, by his parents, friends and others, a person isn’t going to go out killing because of shooting and killing they see in a video game, AND IF A PERSON IS going to go out and kill because of video games, then they are mentally disturbed, AND WOULD HAVE DONE SO ANYWAY wether they played video games or not!!! Get some more IQ points and train your brain please.

I’d like to think gaming has its pros and cons. It kept me out of real trouble but I often wasnt ever truly happy or anything. Anyone reading this I would discourage you from building friendships through online gaming

  40. Skeptic Snicky on October 16, 2021 at 9:18 am

    Pros:

    1. Playing video games helps in the development of perceptual and cognitive abilities and motor skills

    2. While playing video games, children acquire problem-solving skills, learn teamwork and become more alert based on certain games like Minecraft for example in which you can play with friends and learn to share each others items and using teamwork to defeat bosses.

    3. It also helps improve their short term memory, and decision making skills.

    4. A study says that gamers perform better in tests that involve focus, speed, multitasking, vision and accuracy than non-gamers so video games can teach your children to plan, concentrate, come up with different strategies to reach the goal, perform multiple tasks and the same time and how to handle complex situations.

    5. A virtual environment is the future of education, as it offers an interactive way for students to learn and succeed in a competitive world.

    *Negative effects:*

    1. Have negative effects on the physical health of children, spending hours in front of video game screens can increase the risk of obesity, speed disturbances, headaches, sore eyes, muscular disease as well as skeletal and postural disorders in kids and increased heart rate and high blood pressure.

    2. Studies prove that video games can increase anger in children leading to aggressive. They say that video ga,es that have a lot of shooting, guns, and blood can increase blood pressure and angry.

    3. Video games have a direct relation with tendencies like bullying, becoming abusive, beating, or disrupting siblings or peers. There is a direct correlation with children and ignoring their studies, dropping out of school and neglecting homework or school work.

    4. A Korean in 2009 spent hours playing video games, neglecting their 3 month old baby who died from malnutrition and dehydration. A 16 year old from USA killed his mother in the year 2010 for confiscating his PSP console.
