So which brand you recommend to start with

  2. Kyle Pschak on December 5, 2021 at 11:34 am

Blocking out the "hey Google" commands and putting subtitles for that part, the real MVP 👍👍

11:10 Was wondering how you set this up to dim late at night but not during the day. Im moving into a place that has built in LED lighting am Im trying to find a solution that comes on automatically, but dimmed at night.

  5. set forlife19 on December 5, 2021 at 11:37 am

Curious…does the motion sensors need to be wired to the light fixtures for them to work?

  6. Ad on December 5, 2021 at 11:37 am

Hmm, nice, but I am not impressed..🤔

  10. Pandaman Panda on December 5, 2021 at 11:42 am

Imagine someone hacking ur smart house.😂

  11. Samantha J on December 5, 2021 at 11:43 am

Weird question but aren’t you slightly paranoid because everything that listens to you + all the "radiation" or what’s it called in English?

  12. Noah Childs on December 5, 2021 at 11:44 am

We have a Google doorbell. BY and Nest

  13. Ponta on December 5, 2021 at 11:44 am

Did you choose Google because it’s better than Alexa?

  14. Phoenix Sky on December 5, 2021 at 11:45 am

Why isn’t he saying anything like hey Google?

  15. Mr Sussybaka gaming on December 5, 2021 at 11:46 am

  16. Shai Long on December 5, 2021 at 11:46 am

Remote control home, not a smart home (except the sun controlled window coverings)

  17. Tech With Brett on December 5, 2021 at 11:48 am

What else would you like to see added to my smart home this year? What will you be adding to yours?

  18. Abraham Walker on December 5, 2021 at 11:50 am

Anyone disappointed that the washer and dryer did not collect the clothes, properly sort them, wash, dry, and fold with one command?

  19. Jeffrey Mayes on December 5, 2021 at 11:51 am

Why so many different device manufactures? Between Leviton, Wemo and Lutron with switches; Google/Alexa for voice control; Smart things and Flick buttons, and different smart bulbs thought the house, this ‘smart’ home does not seem very smart.

  20. Liza on December 5, 2021 at 11:52 am

May I ask you sth? Where did you buy your smart home product? I wanna buy them. Can you recommend where I can buy in reasonable price or maybe wholesale ? your response would be much appreciated! Thank you.

  21. Michael Lawn on December 5, 2021 at 11:55 am

Just stupid, more toys more thing that will go bad and will need to be replaced.

  22. Phillip Henderson on December 5, 2021 at 11:55 am

What brand of bulbs do you use with the Lutron dimmer switches?

  23. Thomas Simneej on December 5, 2021 at 11:55 am

Automation is amazing. The only reservation I have is the reliability and durability of the system, as well as the maintenance cost when required.

  24. Araf muktadir on December 5, 2021 at 11:55 am

What’s is this app name is

  28. Bahrul Ulum Fiadana on December 5, 2021 at 12:02 pm

    Super smarthome

  29. Zizzy7 on December 5, 2021 at 12:04 pm

0:38 This is a very concerning line… When you can say what you want now, how legit were your reviews? Won’t be watching them as it seems like you just admitted they would be bias or not completely honest. 🙁

  30. Iuliu Visovan on December 5, 2021 at 12:04 pm

Incredible video. Gave me so many ideas, thanks alot!

  31. C Liu on December 5, 2021 at 12:06 pm

These so called ‘smart’ lights will cause you headache lots of time just like you met in the middle of the video, they will just say I can not control your two lights. Then when you want them off, they will just on and you have to go to turn off manually

  32. Sora Star on December 5, 2021 at 12:06 pm

How come you mute "hey google" ? O:

  33. Michael Hinchey on December 5, 2021 at 12:06 pm

    Which shades do you prefer?

  34. di brentley on December 5, 2021 at 12:07 pm

id feel like a control freak if i did that to my house.

  35. Asma Foodies Kitchen on December 5, 2021 at 12:08 pm

    Google or Amazon

  36. Shai Long on December 5, 2021 at 12:08 pm

Buttons remotes and voice commands = not smart

  37. Neville Longbottom on December 5, 2021 at 12:09 pm

Honestly all I want is an estimate for what it cost to hook all of this up

  38. omg dontstop on December 5, 2021 at 12:09 pm

I also set up routines to create different light conditions. I have 13 lights in my living room so I created a couple different routines, I call them dark, bright, etc, and you just say hey google then the routine name, google will only turn on certain lights defined in that routine (and turn off the ones you don’t want), saying ‘hey google, turn on light’ will always turn on all lights in a room and that can be too bright sometimes. I also set up a routine called Two, which is used when I’m done with the living room and plan to go up stairs, it will turn off most lights on the first floor and leave just 1 or 2 small lights, and turn on my second floor lights.

  39. omg dontstop on December 5, 2021 at 12:09 pm

I saw it somewhere those smart plugs or switches are like 3 watts so they use almost as much electricity as led light bulbs

  40. Smart Household Products & Gadgets on December 5, 2021 at 12:10 pm

    nice video

  41. Pete Nice on December 5, 2021 at 12:10 pm

One thing I’ve noticed about all these smarthome videos from various influencers is the presence of visible stuff. Extra switches, Alexa (etc) devices in full view… It all defeats the purpose. The idea is to minimize wall acne and streamline everything, not add to it to facilitate voice control.

  42. R.Ramana Rao on December 5, 2021 at 12:11 pm

    i added alaxa light

  43. José Rodríguez on December 5, 2021 at 12:11 pm

Hi, I love your videos, they are great and so amazing. Could you provide me the link in amazon to buy the Philips Rotatory Switch that you explain in the minute 23:25? Thank you.

  44. Mickey Ho on December 5, 2021 at 12:12 pm

Awesome video, all your videos are super helpful. Just curious, if i have a basement suite and wanted to add smart devices but separate of my main house (ie tell Alexa to turn all lights off but not control the basement lights) how would you recommend setting that up? Do i need separate HUBs or just do within Smartthings/Alexa app? Thanks for any help!

  45. Ivan Parra on December 5, 2021 at 12:17 pm

I have all Ubiquiti network devices, I’m hoping they come out with their own version of smart home stuff that can be integrated into the network but for now I have just Access points and cameras.
