I really miss what R6 and GR used to be.

  2. kevin steel on February 5, 2023 at 4:21 am

I loved Rainbow Six 3 Gold but I was never good at or patient enough for the planning phases. Also never played multiplayer, but would love to revisit it.

The R6 franchise and how its been dumbed down over the years for the console peasants.

What are you using to run Rainbow Six 1 for this footage?

  5. Kraut 46 on February 5, 2023 at 4:24 am

Good memories from this video. I played them all. I wish they would make a remastered version of Rainbow Six Raven Shield and the Add-On Athena Sword with the graphic environment of today. To make a complete plan before the mission and to check the plan before was fantastic. It was possible to finish a mission with no casualties in the team. My favorite game forever.

Incredible video, thank you for investing so much time into this. Nostalgic for me having started playing in 1998. Rogue spear was my favourite. Timeless!

  9. Fawad Bilgrami on February 5, 2023 at 4:27 am

Rainbow Six Siege was never a Rainbow Six.
Still waiting for a successor of Rainbow Six after Vegas 2.

For Raven Shield, the most useful accessory is smoke. Flash bang is only useful in small-to-mediums room free of obstacles. Smoke is magical anywhere. Throw a smoke on the door before opening it, and you will be safe.

Made a load of xbox live friends back in the day playing rainbow six 3.. one of my first experiences with online gaming and voice chat. I miss the days of persistent lobbies. You could stay in the same lobby even if everyone else left. So you’d be playing with the same guys for hours and hours and having a blast. Someone would drop out and someone else would join in thinking they’re in a lobby full of best friends chating away, when in reality they’ve just been playing together for the last 6 hours lol.

Hey everyone – thanks for tuning in! This one took me a long time to piece together simply because of all the recent game releases in the past month, and the fact that I just built a brand new computer from scratch a couple weeks ago. Next documentary is planned for November – but I have a few more reviews and comparisons planned until then, along with my first "Studio Tour" to celebrate reaching 300,000 subscribers!

Please support this channel on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/Nick930 – you’ll get early access to new documentaries, exclusive discord access, and behind the scenes content, along with a chance to win a free game every month (once we hit the next funding goal ;))

You can also follow me on twitter @Nick930Gaming for more frequent updates on the status of new projects – and on Twitch @Nick930 where I take a break and play some of these games live.

Special thanks to Rogue-9 for permission to use the early concept footage of Rainbow Six: Siege. You can check out his full breakdown of Siege’s development here: https://www.rogue-9.com/early-development-of-rainbow-six-siege

Are we ever gonna get a story co-op with online modes basically it kinda sucks without it tbh

  16. SpartanKYRO on February 5, 2023 at 4:32 am

Rainbow six isn’t a tactical shooter anymore it’s a fortnite type game filled with cringey 14 year old boys screaming slurs at each other

  17. Weedknight on February 5, 2023 at 4:34 am

Vegas 2 is still the best rainbow six game

  18. LarryJustUs on February 5, 2023 at 4:35 am

Rogue Spear online PvP sniper matches were the best, until people started to cheat mod the map to where they would be underneath the ground or on your side of the map.

Cancelling Patriots was the stupidest decision they ever made, because Activision didn’t care about the News media criticism with the first Modern Warfare which in the first scene, a president in the middle east get executed in a live stream, and "No Russian" in the first Modern Warfare 2, and Ready or Not been one of the best selling games on Steam despite of the heavy criticism from gaming journalists. Not forgetting Modern Warfare 2019 "Piccadilly", and "Hometown" missions, and Modern Warfare 2 2022 "Alone" mission. Therefore, Patriots would’ve been the best Rainbow Six game ever. But nooo, let us throw our money in the trash and make Rainbow Six Extinction 🤦🏻‍♂️

  23. MrNuDiEnIxOn on February 5, 2023 at 4:43 am

    Seige is trash boring trash.

  32. Anthony Cruz on February 5, 2023 at 4:55 am

I think Rainbow Six Lockdown was the first one I played on XBOX. Loved that game

  33. Joseph Yang on February 5, 2023 at 4:56 am

Man a lot of memories from my childhood.. I was never a fan of shooter games but the planning portion of this game really sucked me in. Spent hours on planning a mission over and over so I can merely observe and complete the objectives just by sending waypoint commands. The original RB6 was a brilliant game for the time.

  34. Dub Element on February 5, 2023 at 4:56 am

    nice, thanks

  35. GradeEhCanadian on February 5, 2023 at 4:57 am

  36. Chinos synthesizer on February 5, 2023 at 4:59 am

Alot of people play rainbow six vegas 2 but the first game was much better the weapons actually feel stronger

  37. Deniz on February 5, 2023 at 5:00 am

Raven Shield LAN parties were the shit. Never had as much fun with the newer games especially siege.

  38. Cory Jackman on February 5, 2023 at 5:01 am

Wow. Half way through the video before getting to where I started with the 6. I guess I didn’t know.

Also, huge problem with all online multiplayer games? Time. They will ALL be obsolete when new games come out. No one will be playing the old games. Sad. 😥

  39. Jon Redcorn on February 5, 2023 at 5:01 am

Hearing about those early games literlaly gives me goose bumps dude I loved them so much, the OG Rainbow 6 was so amazing.

  40. Ivan Orozco on February 5, 2023 at 5:01 am

Seige’s move to being just a competitive story between operitives was a good story because the most maps looked like shoot houses.

  41. Seryux on February 5, 2023 at 5:05 am

ravenshield on pc was my first shooter ever and it has still a special place in my heart

  42. Bearded Weirdo on February 5, 2023 at 5:05 am

  44. Dalton Smith on February 5, 2023 at 5:07 am

I loved the old style rainbow six games. I hope the next rainbow game is like this.

  45. Dub Element on February 5, 2023 at 5:08 am

from good to call of duty 😑

  46. Gamtamix on February 5, 2023 at 5:08 am

    OOOObisoft😂😂

  47. Jeff Burnham on February 5, 2023 at 5:09 am

The game started losing its appeal for me when it started multi-player "elimination" style play. Too many players just confused this with a Call of Duty type play. That’s why you see so many videos from content creators and its non-tactical FPS. Then add all the modding and what’s left is an abortion of the original concept.

  48. F B on February 5, 2023 at 5:09 am

The first Rainbow Six was incredibly advanced for its time. I remember having a very slow PC and being able to play it maxed out. The only thing that bothers me to this day is the lack of a gun model in first person.

  49. Fearless Leader on February 5, 2023 at 5:13 am

Rogue Spear was the pinnacle of Rainbow Six awesomeness

  50. Frankie on February 5, 2023 at 5:16 am

Man I fucking loved rainbow six on the 64..I spent literal days playing that game when I was a kid
