How Do Cell Phone Signals Work? | SureCall

Get more great information in this ultimate guide to cell signals and signal boosters – https://www.surecall.com/cell-phone-signal-booster-guide/

How do cell signals work? Why is my cell signal weak? How do I improve my cell reception? In this video, we will address each of these questions and many more. Essentially, cellular signals travel in two directions – uplink and downlink. During their journey from either the tower to your phone or from your phone back to the tower there are materials that can get in the way of that signal. Avoid these materials when possible to improve your cell signal and use a signal booster, or other cellular signal solution, to improve cell signals in your home, office, or vehicle.

Or. Its because the Antenna you are trying to connect with is over 45 miles away. Where as a cellphone tower cant pick up a signal because its NOT DESIGNED TOO! Its a Ionosphere heater an Microwave tower. ITS A COOK BOOK!

I hope someone expert can answer my question. Can I still get good signal if I am living in a mountain area and the tower is on an area 1.5k away from our home and it is located in the plain? In short my area is higher than the cell tower location. Thanks!

Itโ€™s a wonder our phones work at all where we live ๐Ÿ˜“ My mom works from home so that she can take care of my grandparents. She is at risk of losing her job though, because the WiFi runs so poorly here. In the middle of a dense forest and living in a log home ๐Ÿ˜ฌ Weโ€™ve tried much to improve the signal. Towers are far far away though. If a company needs to build an additional tower, we have plenty of pasture space for them to do it and are willing to let them ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ

I live in a rural area about 15 miles from the nearest town of a little over 2000 people, but only a little over a mile from a 4 year old cell tower. It worked well for the first 2 years but then I heard they added a new verizon can and now instead of 4 bars of signal lucky to even get a half. I called at&t for months trying to get help but all I got was different excuses . The only ones truly effect were those south of tower. It’s gotten so bad texting can be difficult most days and getting on the nets a joke. At $62 per month and on 5th carrier and 8 phones latter trying to get service sucks. I’m going to try the FCC but I’m pretty sure that’ll be like pissing in a strong frontal wind

I have poor internet connection and do mountains prevent signal from reaching my router?
Can I have a good internet connection in the place where is bad cell signal?
How can I have better internet connection?
    I mean
I live on a mountain but the mountain is 800 meters high and I’m at 600 meters and there are other mountains around me so can I have a better internet connection?
