Huawei P50 Pro: Hands on

Huawei P50 Pro: Hands on

The camera is amazing but with no Google services or 5G and with a sky-high price, Huawei’s new flagship P50 Pro offers little to make it a compelling choice over any of its competitors.

It was cringe to watch. Everyoje knows this phone has no google. And what? It is the same dumb as to try Ford and to say the main problem it is not Porsche

  2. Comedy Central at Next Level on January 16, 2023 at 2:56 am

Hands down the best phone ever… if anyone got a problem with this phone maybe have your mom start using Asian sperms, stop blaming Asians for making a better phone coz others are dumb. Use asian sperm instead and solve your dumifiication problems forever.

Sounds pretty much like a review from paper. If you’d used it for some time you would have mentioned other issues: Don’t fiddle with the settings – the screen is gonna freeze, don’t get in touch with services, they will Boris Johnson you (jabbatalk you to death); they don’t know their own products – in doubt will misinform you and deny that a second later. Be happy the person talking to you is understandable. What Huawei does with their Advertising ID is simply permanent intrusion – on a phone for around 1000 bucks.

P20 then P30. P30 cracked from many falls. Had each phone for 2 years, well since the P30 is now broken I went back to my P20. It still works great being a little over 4 years old now. Love these phones and looking to get the P50

It’s really bad when assholes mix politics and discrimination with technology. After all what else Vatican 🇻🇦 🇬🇧🇺🇸 and other coalition dog members can do outside of being jealous retardants. Smart people are better off purchasing Huawei P50 Pro over iPhone or Other phones due to better privacy… 4G + LTE will be around for many years regardless of 5G …

    Harmony will outrun Google !

  12. MIGUEL ALCALA on January 16, 2023 at 3:07 am

This will be a great phone. really think about it. If our own government doesn’t want us to have it because maybe they know that they can’t access without you knowing about it. Something really think about.

GMS Packages can be downloaded separately.

I’ve always tried to find ways to disable google services on all of my phones, dont use Play Store, my mail is outlook, for which I have my own reasons, so this is actually a perfect phone for me.

Its easy to get google play services to work on any huawei device andfunction like a normal device. And anyone who uses youtube should be using youtube vanced anyway, its free premium youtube. Also there are many third party app stores that are extremely trustworthy like the aurora store which downloads apk files off the playstore with a dummy account. So its defientlyy worth getting. But why would you even want google play services? most apps work without it and are easy to get. And ones that do require it you’ll find trusted modded apks (like youtube vanced – and yes you can sign in with your google account)

  23. David S. Majer on January 16, 2023 at 3:19 am

Ok so first at first i dont give a f… about google services. Apple doesnt have google services too and we dont cry about this. Second about 5G. Do you know that this phone was made for 2021? This year p60 will come out so… I just need the best camera and Huawei is slaying it so Samsung and Apple (at all!) can hide.

  30. Etornam Bless Attamah-Kodzole on January 16, 2023 at 3:27 am

You are just trying to make huawei look bad… Phones are not all about Google services… We love our huaweis and our privacy from US spy app Google

I’m sure when huawei sorted out the chip shortages in the future you can upgrade to 5G. you can just g space if you want to use the play store.

Removing/disabling google bloatware is the first thing I do when I buy a new android device. But I like 5G.

  43. Ricardo Ogdon on January 16, 2023 at 3:42 am

This review is lacking MASSIVE unique points surrounding the Huawei P50 (and any other recent Huawei phone for that matter) The reviewer failed to mention the Huawei ecosystem built in top of Android, the development of HarmonyOS and the integration of hardware and software in a “super-device” that allows powerful experiences between different type of devices (drag and drop, workflow continuity, and so on) The review also completely skipped the Petal search service (which scans the apps in their results for malware and advertising) in order to give the user an informed decision about the app they are going to install. This review also missed the Dual Space, an environment that allows you to have your apps installed in different accounts (For example WhatsApp for your office and another WhatsApp for your personal use) in other words, this is not a review and there is so much more to talk about Huawei phones.

  44. iCRAFT_7 on January 16, 2023 at 3:46 am

You say it has no 5g when hauwei introduced 5g?

  45. SSteven Ccross on January 16, 2023 at 3:46 am

Shame there isn’t a phone out there without a compromise. HTC at their peak used to make phones that were good at everything

  46. Other Humans on January 16, 2023 at 3:49 am

What’s the point of this phone lol no 5g no App Store no google maps no google mail. Pointless

  47. Andrey Ivanov on January 16, 2023 at 3:51 am

OMG there is no Google spyware! Don’t buy this phone LOL
At the end of the day if you got brain and a laptop you’ll make google store work.

surprisingly, p50 pro is among the cheapest flagship phones sold here in the Philippines.

  49. Lenfen 05 on January 16, 2023 at 3:54 am

    I used p30 pro now

  50. TerryM on January 16, 2023 at 3:54 am

I was intrigued to try a Huawei phone without Google services, so I bought a used P40 Pro.

Setting up the phone was very smooth, and firmware, and security patches, were upto May 2022.

I don’t use numerous Apps, and the Huawei Store met all my needs including the Opera browser.

The P50 Pro can be bought for £899 which is £150 cheaper than a 256GB iPhone 13 Pro.
