I met my husband, William, in college. After graduation, we spent 5 years in a long distance relationship. I stayed in New York to work and go to grade school while he went to Washington state to work on a submarine for the US Navy. He was deployed five times. This was the hardest point in our relationship. We could write emails occasionally, but other than that, there’s no communication on a submarine. But, I knew that if we could get through that, we could get through anything. And we did. We finally got married, and the Navy moved us to Hawaii. I called this our “two year honeymoon” because we were finally together, and in paradise of all places! We got to make up for lost time. I was worried it would be difficult for us to go from hardly ever seeing each other to living together, in a new place where neither of us knew anyone. But starting over like that really helped us bond. After a few years, he had to go back on a submarine. We spent a lot of time apart during those years even though we “lived” in the same place. In the military, similar to long distance relationships, the lows can be low but the highs are so high. For me, the high was visiting William on a port call in Guam. And there is no better feeling than that homecoming hug. I wouldn’t have had these amazing experiences without the hard parts that came with them. Now we live near Washington, DC, with our baby girl, and William has no plans to deploy again!” Moreover I was able to track all phone activities using cybermicheal1995@gmail.com you can also text them on +18722250930 Totally untraceable, cheap and anonymous. Let him know I referred you.

Network check:. Enterprise networks, these have tons of networks and switches and firewalls and servers.

Me:. Maybe two or three years ago. Now they all just have their own AWS account. ,😎

    EDIT:
Wow I just found my own comment from 7 months ago, and don’t even remember ever watching this video. What was I on? 🥴

10:36 I’m surprised you’re still using the router’s "official" firmware and not Openwrt. I dumped the firmware after some time noticing it was unstable and quirky even after updating "official" updated firmware. I have a dynamic IP provider and it wasn’t releasing the current IP for a new one. Months with the same IP. It was a relatively easy process. However, for my router i had to do an extra step and use PuTTY to upload the GUI. Haven’t have a problem with the router since and I have tons more options to play with than the factory default firmware.

So my friend told me my public IP address is 127.0.0.1. He laughed, and began to tell me how there is no place like home… Guy has got a screw loose.

Hi all, did someone take a notes and make some short tutorial "how to secure your home network" or similar. @Chuck do you have something similar. btw. Great stuff!!!

  19. Charlie Dallachie on August 9, 2021 at 10:00 pm

Well the question is why are you a target? Sure it can easily be hacked but why would hackers choose you over millions of homes and waste their time unless there’s something you’re doing or something valuable you hold? Aside from securing, also don’t be a target.

  20. PAPPA DAVE'S COOKING on August 9, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Hey, Chuck, how do i use proxy add-ons?

  21. Ronald Hofman on August 9, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Also not using a QNAP nas would help, a little time ago i used qnap qphoto for saving some bucks by not using onedrive, but upon a day every jpg file was renamed 7.z, i did not care about that because all the files where on my phone , so i did purchase office 365 and have 1TB of space , but took the QNAP offline and only use it locally as a NVR, i later read that qnap had hardcoded a account in the qnap and that was ,misused, what a fuckup , there are a lot of people having there private pictures ransomwared.

If you’re watching this and thinking about getting a Dream Machine Pro, you might want to hold off until the DMP-SE is released. It add’s PoE among other things.

I had port 8443 open on my router, which is the port I use for remote management and app control for my router. I do have a VPN set up but it’s nice when my wife calls me to tell the wifi is shit or something to be able to look at it on the app on my phone.

I also don’t use default credentials like some sort of scrub.

Mrs Richards: "I paid for a room with a view!"
Basil: (pointing to the lovely view) "That is Torquay, Madam."
Mrs Richards: "It’s not good enough!"
Basil: "May I ask what you were expecting to see out of a Torquay hotel bedroom window? Sydney Opera House, perhaps? the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? Herds of wildebeest sweeping majestically past?…"
Mrs Richards: "Don’t be silly! I expect to be able to see the sea !"
Basil: "You can see the sea, it’s over there between the land and the sky."
Mrs Richards: "I’m not satisfied. But I shall stay. But I expect a reduction."
Basil: "Why?! Because Krakatoa’s not erupting at the moment ?

I use domoticz, have WIFI MQTT and in separate VLAN , use default droprule , am using Tasmota and not Alexa or other unsafe stuff, not using a IOT cloud and it’s working perfectly, i am a IT pro and using UBNT equipment , USG Pro 4 , and a good network design.

Thank you for the information! I know this was a while ago, but do you guys know if the hacking your home network technique will work the same way with other cloud linux setups like via AWS or MS Azure etc?

@NetworkChuck Sooooooo, Almost done watching this video, but if you have an Echo Dot that is on a network/VLAN that is separate from your phone, then how do you get them talk talk/integrate with each other? Sorry I’m just about a Network Newb. I passed the first 2 tests, but I’m horrible when it comes to layers.

7:30 it is so weird to me to see ‘apt install’ without a sudo in front of it. i know that since root you dont need sudo, but after so long always using sudo in front, it feels weird for it to not be there
