Gracias

Why use glue if you used double sided tape like what it looks like it had originally?

I have a tip that might help anyone that is about to do this. I have a Droid force, so it might not apply, but if they are similar this will prevent u from damaging your screen and edges. I just got my phone taken apart and I did absolutely zero damage to the front screen or the edges in the process. I got the iFixit kit that included the battery and tools needed and I also read the instructions on the same website as well as watching all of these videos. The first thing you need to do is remember to be patient and take your time. The kit I got included a heating pad, but I ended up using a mini butane torch as well. I suppose a hairdryer would work too, but if you use a torch be very careful because you could obviously melt things. Anyway once you pry the two back plates off and expose the screws you will notice there are two holes in the top corners of the phone. They might be in different location on the z, but hopefully there are holes. These holes actually go through to the back of the front screen and you can push something in the holes in order to break the seal in the two top corners once you heat them up a little of course. Doing this will prevent you from damaging the front of your phone when you start prying. That is the most likely place where you will damage something if you don’t do it this way. anyway I used a precision screwdriver to push through one of those holes and the front corner of the screen came up almost immediately and I just stuck a razor underneath there and then a plastic wedge that was included in the kit and just moved it around the edges. this work quite well because I didn’t do any damage to my screen or the edges of the phone. Anyway, I hope this helps. If anyone has any questions just post on here

First glue the screen to the device, then test the device. Nice! LOL

Not as easy for non techies like me. Chargie USB stick helps preserve battery life.

На moto z force меняли батарею и повредили дисплей. Стоит ли заказывать с АлиЭкспресс? Поишлют амолед или ипс?

Excellent video – thank you! Easy to follow and nicely commented. Not many "how to" videos are this clear and helpful. Very good job, indeed.

Amazing video! In fact, I replaced my Moto-Z when the battery went completely dead and now I really miss the Moto-Z (an excellent phone overall) and want to revive it. I watched your video and, with the confidence to follow your excellent video, I was able to remove the old battery without any problems. Now, I’ve just ordered a new battery and, when it arrives, it will be a simple matter of reassembling the phone according to the second half of the video.

  27. Jessiah on November 6, 2020 at 2:59 am

This video tutorial completely broke my Moto Z force, it was not accurate at all. If there is a plate behind the screen then you will have to use another tutorial, this will break the screen. Watch "Moto Z Force Teardown|Disassembly" for an understanding of what I mean. After watching several other videos all just duplicating the same processes in this video, I thought that it was simple. This video must be for the Moto Z play, or some other version, perhaps I have a early vs late Moto Z force. Someone asked where to buy the batteries, I found mine on Amazon, I believe ebay has it also.

  28. Sergio Mendieta on November 6, 2020 at 3:01 am

wrong 1st and one rule unplug the battery first even by turning off the phone before mother still got flowing energy if not unplugged can cause damage to the screen and or the motherboard

The way you use glue tape which is too thick and Screen glue to attach LCD screen back make aesthetic of this phone very ugly. I bet there is large gap between LCD and hosing. This is not a professional working.
