that takes me back and makes me feel old lol. I remember the camera on my phone being something like 0.3 pixels. I had the classic Nokia 3310 and had a Motorola razor.
Oh it was Nokia 3310 legendary first Smartphone was Samsung Galaxy ACE.
My first phone was the Ericsson a1018s on Voicestream and first PDA was the Philips Nino. I know all too well not having persistent storage and losing all of my data. The good old days.
My frist phone was a Motorola C195 black and green display, and my first "smart" phone was the BlackBerry 8520!
*_Erica didn’t know Palm’s _**_#HotSync_**_ back then. LOL!_*
*My first phone was the Nokia 2010. My first PDA was the Palm m100 with a whopping 2MB (yes, megabytes) of non-expandable storage.*
_Tech I never had that I still want now: Nokia 9210i Communicator._
my first phone or pda was a hp ipaq HSTNH-H06C i got it when i was 3 or4?
You are a genius 💯
My adopted dad had that phone back in the day and I had no idea about any of this stuff
I always wondered what that rubber circle was for underneath the antenna? My first cell was an Audiovox CDM-135. My first flip was a Pantech PN-215. I felt like a player with that phone! 😎
Mine was bypassed through the help of #kizzytools on IG he’s such a genius’s I ever seen I knew him
Old is gold
Verizon shutdown their 2G network a few years ago, which is why you can’t use that old Moto flip phone. To make matters worse it’s CDMA, so you can’t even swap in a SIM card like you could with a GSM phone. I have a couple old CDMA phones from Verizon and felt pretty burned about it. T-Mobile is the only carrier still supporting 2G, so if you had a GSM version of that Motorola either unlocked or locked to T-Mobile you could swap in a SIM and get it going. That’s what I’m doing myself with an old Moto Razr… So I don’t agree with not get your old phones back on eBay. You just gotta be smart about it and do your homework.
Ohhhhhh that’s why she loves a ds she has a flip phone

I am 20 and my first phone was Nokia 1661 that I’ve got in 2010. It was really unusual at that time, there were many problems with it like you could have only one phone number assigned to one name. Calendar had also capacity only for 20 appointements. I still think that Series 30 was the worst operating system in the history and 10 years later, I still don’t understand how famous Nokia could make that stupid phone. 2 years later I’ve replaced it by a Samsung star. It was a really huge upgrade, for the first time, I was able to have MP3s and movies stored in a pocket device, there were also many games for this device and for the first time, I’ve had a camera on a phone. Then I’ve replaced it by a Lumia phone. But in 2017, I’ve did one experiment and bought a Nokia N8 Symbian phone from 2011 on ebay (for about 40 USD). I wanted to see if it’s still useful and I’ve discovered that I am able to still use it as a 2nd phone with an android phone or tablet. I don’t need many apps, I’ve never used Netflix, I don’t play games (but there are still some available that I’ve had on Samsung Star, like Death race or Worms), for Facebook, there is still a working app for JAVA (much faster and smaller than the modern one for Android). Many sites like news sites, I access using Opera Mini, and for notifications, there is a built in RSS reader. I also don’t need a compatibility with bluetooth headphones, because I don’t have any a I can imagine that I would use a wire headphones 10 years later like today or 8 years ago. But one thing that you cannot imagine on a tennager is that I REALLY don’t need a selfie camera. I’ve never taken any selfie with something in the background. I have it on my new Android phone but I don’t use it. This old phone has only a few limitations that I’ve found during this experiment. First of all, I was not able to acces Youtube, also there is not a useful app for maps, and the 3rd, there is a problem with calendar sync, but e-mail works very well. I’ve also had a problem with Whatsapp messenger that no longer works. But the best thing on this phone is its display which is the best I’ve ever seen. In the sun I was able to read everithing on the display, also with a minimal birghtness set. On modern phones like Lumia or Nokia 3 that I use now, you cannot cannot see anything on the display in the sun and setting brightness to maximum cannot change it. I’ve ended this experiment after 4 months. I’ve also repeated that with an HP Windows Mobile device similair to yours Dell PDA and it was really similair to a Symbian experience. Now, both devices no longer work (Symbian has a battery dead and HP has some software problem and it’s not able to power on) but I am thinking about buying new ones and repeat this experiment that you should also try. It’s good that some old devices are not really expensive so you can also try it.
Its the Motorola E815 From VeriZon Wireless.
I had the e815 too, I miss those days.
My mom actually had the Dell PDA, I remember playing that bubble game on it XD "Who wants a stylus?" – Steve Jobs
My first phone was an iPhone 3gs
I love this video showing your history of phones in this throwback!
MySpace was popular back then. 😂😂😂
My first ever cellphone was a Nokia 1208… It was black and white… Basically my parents gave it to me just to know where I was back in 2008… I was 11 back then. After 1 year I bought the Nokia 5130… That was my media device,my internet device and my connectivity device… I loved listening to music on it.. I used to chat with my buddies with the phone and remind you I was 12 and most of my friends didn’t have a personal phone… I had my first android in 2013… Between this period I had several Nokia phones and one of the memorable one was Nokia E-72 which I got in 2012 just because of the 5MP autofocus camera! And I loved the camera it was so fun and I have great photos from the time. I could get an android back then but android didn’t have a good camera under 200$ at the time and I was too young to buy a costly device!! Now I am 23 years old and I am a student… still broke and don’t have money! Right now I’m using a Xiaomi redmi note 8 pro… This one is great for the money…

I low-key feel too young. My first device that was actually my own personal device was my TrekStor iBeat Emo mp3 player. Got it when I was 8 then later I got a Nintendo DSI. Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed to bring either of these to school with me so I could only enjoy them at home till I got older. The family computer doesn’t count because it was the whole family’s and neither does the GameCube because we all had to share it. Though the GameCube is mine only these days

Nokia 1100
Liked the video. That Dell looked pretty impressive for the time. But you should have backed up your Palm Zire. There were free apps that would automatically back up to your SD card at whatever time you set up. Hooking up to your PC was an option, but not a requirement. I owned a few Windows Mobile devices and they had their advantages, but I preferred the Palm platform and had quite a few. I would upgrade to a new one when they came out. I still use a Palm Treo as a PDA and carry it with my cheap Android phone for calls and text. I like the apps and use databases I created with it over the years. I preferred Palm because of the larger selection of apps, mostly.
I use to have this phone as it was a gift from my younger brother.
My first phone was Siemens M55
Mine was an LG VX-6100
