I’m missing the bad weather option (covered tent annex)
Having a good weather case is worth nothing. Bad weather possibilities is what separates great vehicles from poor ones….
Very exciting day indeed! RJ’s emotion speaks volumes….. I"m a reservation holder since Nov 2020. I want to reach out to you guys, I sent Rivian a gamechanger espresso machine that works as well as a $10,000 commercial espresso machine in a package that fits in the camp kitchen, that fits in the palm of your hand, that works without electricity! I’m happy to show it to you on your channel!
The R1T puts all other adventure vehicles to shame. I love camping, but my spinal and fatigue issues make even that extremely difficult. With an R1T most of the work is gone or done for you, so even I could still enjoy camping.
How’re the headlights in the dark? Would light bars and ditch lights still be needed for serious off-roading?
Hi guys
My most burning questions are all around how practical the range is for overlanding. How much is range affected by various types of terrain/trails? By deflated tires? By cargo load? E.g. If I climb from Bishop, CA up the Coyote Flats plateau (or Ouray CO to Yankee Boy Basin, etc) with deflated tires and loaded with cargo, how much energy do I have to explore the plateau?
Tank turn is a lame gimmick. Fun, but a gimmick.
I have a 90 pounds Bouvier of Flandres that I would like to take camping with me. How will I be able to have him climb the steps? Any suggestions?
Man, I am so pumped to see actual deliveries and tests done by owners and production cars. I do not have a launch edition order, just a regular one and hoping that I could test drive a R1T before the line gets to me.
camp kitchen is genius. You could live in this thing.
When your vehicles start coming in, it would be nice to see what the financing process looks like from start to finish.
Tank Turn has been shelved and from what I read I don’t think it’s coming back.
Question: if the vehicle has to be shuttled to a down-river parking spot by a third party, can they leave the carabiner or card key inside and still lock the vehicle (that the owner later unlocks w the bracelet)?
I really want to be able to store a bicycle on the towbar of an R1S. So far it’s looking like there’s roof-mounted storage only but my e-bike weighs 30+kg (66+lb), and there’s no way I’d get it up onto the roof without ruining the paintwork on the vehicle and snapping my spine!
I’m waiting on the lower priced Dual Motor version with 250 range at a lower price point in 2022. I hope it comes in around $50k. It also allows Rivian a chance to solve some of the new car kinks that happen with a new line of vehicles.

Every camp kitchen video makes me laugh. Why are they always cooking vegetables in those things. You’re camping!!! Bust out the bacon and ground beef.
Man this thing is dope telsa needs to step it up
