Russian ELECTRONICS STORE after 9 Month of Unprecedented SANCTIONS. Wow!

In “M Video”, Russian electronics store after 9 months of sanctions.

“M Video” is one of the largest chains of electronics stores in Russia. In this video I came to one of their shops in St Petersburg.

Smartphones, computers, TV panels, washing machines, fridges, vacuum cleaners, gadgets and more.

So… it appears there’s no need to lift sanctions since they’re not having any effect…

  7. donchu on March 4, 2023 at 5:42 am

Interesting video. Many people buying? Looks like the store is empty? I guess the prices are relative to ones salary? I read that the average St Peterburg monthly salary is $1,000?

  8. Eva on March 4, 2023 at 5:43 am

Людей нет! Почему? А потому, что в Санкт-Петербурге и по всей России покупки делают онлайн. 🇷🇺🥰

  9. Robert Nunn on March 4, 2023 at 5:44 am

  10. fnersch on March 4, 2023 at 5:45 am

The SMO has had little impact in Russia.

  11. Andy Taylor on March 4, 2023 at 5:47 am

The closest to this where I live in USA is Best Buy, but the variety of brands and availability of products is maybe one tenth in comparison.

  12. Патриот on March 4, 2023 at 5:47 am

Все у нас в России отлично 🇷🇺💪мы процветаем благодаря вашим санкциям 😂 навредили себе 😂

The west is being told by their MSM that the Russians are taking computer chips out of old dishwashers to use in their fighter jets, lol! The propaganda is thick over here! Only Russia is not being harmed by those sanctions.

*So essentially "unprecedented sanctions" are not effective so it does not matter if they continue in place or not…*

We in US know Ukraine is a territorial conflict and not ww3 like we are being told. I’m sure someone is making money off of it. Good to see things are ok in Russia 🐻👍🏻. Black friday stops for nothing

    Nice weather.

  24. Stewart Rogerson on March 4, 2023 at 6:01 am

Very reasonable selection and prices, very similar to Western prices.

  25. Ruslan Alpizar on March 4, 2023 at 6:04 am

I can’t believe it, Russia under sanctions and embargoes has lower prices than here in Costa Rica! Bread in Costa Rica costs like $2 and in Russia just a few cents, a fridge costs around $1500 while the same in Russia costs like $400!!! Salaries in Russia are higher than in Costa Rica!!!! I cannot believe everything is doing better in Russia! Well done, hope I could move to Russia some day!

If Putin wants to peg the ruble to gold again…products would become more cheaper

  31. Ghl Scitel on March 4, 2023 at 6:11 am

Most stuff seems to be made in east asia, like Taiwan, China, Korea.
    Which is original Russian made?

  32. V1-Vr-Rotate V2-VY_VX on March 4, 2023 at 6:14 am

Hey Russia has profited big time when all the American companies left, Russia filled the void and is producing products and profiting instead of the USA not only that India and other European countries are supporting Russia and telling the USA to go to hell especially in the oil market.

  33. Joe Bidet on March 4, 2023 at 6:17 am

@1:59 i have the same fridge in.my.flat in kyrgyzstan

  37. Adam West on March 4, 2023 at 6:23 am

Thanks this is like Aladdins cave has everything.

  38. triumphbobberbiker on March 4, 2023 at 6:24 am

Not surprised at all. Most of these products are – like those in our own stores – made in China, and China has refused to cut commercial ties with Russia

  39. B D on March 4, 2023 at 6:25 am

9 months of sanction and all the customers are fighting war in Ukraine.

  40. Richard on March 4, 2023 at 6:26 am

The only countries that are suffering are those imposing sanctions on Russia … along with open borders, net zero, green new deals etc etc etc … thats whats killing UK/Europe – The West is killing itself!

  41. H.R. Geodude on March 4, 2023 at 6:28 am

Secondary imports from other countries like Kazakhstan or Kirgizstan, skirting EU/ UN/ other nations sanctions. Not really surprising but its nice to see the shelves are full. It means people are being conscious of not spending their rubles on garbage they dont need.

  42. Marion Gran Bruheim on March 4, 2023 at 6:28 am

  46. gvaik on March 4, 2023 at 6:31 am

The only thing I did not like, is this 24/7 bit. Salesmen also need to be with their families and go to Church on Sunday.

  47. Ann Mcilvenna on March 4, 2023 at 6:35 am

I am from the UK but obviously 🙄 because we have wicked people in charge of the politics I tried but could not find a new cooker from Russia but I did some research and found Beķo (Turkey ) who is a supporter of Russia and now 95% of my electric equipment is from them.

  48. krokodilen31 on March 4, 2023 at 6:36 am

  49. Cecilia Layer on March 4, 2023 at 6:38 am

So much products you have there. I thought there will no more products after the West sanctioned Russia. Good luck to you. 🌟

Nobody in the store is strange. Are they at the frontline or hiding from mobilization?
