if you can afford it, use desktop for gaming/content creation. laptop for studying . gpu in laptop is expensive, heavy and battery consuming
I literally spent the whole day yesterday watching your videos after I went to the store to buy a Lenovo Ideapad 5 flex 14′ (Ryzen 7 4700u octa-core, 16GB ram, 1T SSD, the battery last 6h and it has fast charging) for 799€ (was on sale, -200€).
I had one helios predator (almost 3kg) and was painful to take it to university.
I study computer science too in Portugal, and I wanted something 2 in 1, to help me take notes and also something not so heavier. Do you think that I did right?

You still need a laptop if you plan on gaming. Also there’s some software that isn’t on iPads and tablets in general which you may need for your college course
