  6. Brian Torres on April 30, 2022 at 7:28 pm

I ordered a prebuilt online, Omen 30L with the
AMD Ryzen 7 5800x and 3070 gpu. It showed
up yesterday and is having problems already.
It takes forever to boot up. The first time, it
said windows didn’t load properly so I
continued to windows 10. Randomly the
monitor will say "scanning for signal" then "no
dp signal detected from your device." The only
way for the monitor to come back on is hard
resetting the pc. It’ll then take forever to
reboot. Occasionally, instead of booting to the
Lock Screen to log in to the desk top, it’ll blue
screen and say that I need my BitRecovery
key. I entered that in, and all it did was make
the monitor lose signal again. I believe I’ve
checked every connection I can see to make
sure they’re plugged in, the gpu is properly
seated, the display port cable is functional, I
have no idea what’s going on and REALLY
need some help as this is my first ever pc

  7. Hippopig on April 30, 2022 at 7:28 pm

I know its a fair ways of,but will be replacing my current pc come August.
    Its an i5 6600k
    gtx 1080 8gb
    16gb ddr4 corsair ram
    a samsung evo ssd
    an m.2 nvme drive
    1 tb hdd
Its based on a Gladiator Apocalpyse, and has been issue free for the last 3-4 years
I only use my pc to game, and normal internet things
My budget will be around £1500 give or take a bit ,anything i should be looking for?
Dont mind going pre built again as its been hassle free, but have built my own previously

Can’t beat the prebuilt pricing atm. The satisfaction of the build takes a backseat to saving several hundred dollars.
    Have a great day.

Or self-built still the way to go?
also, AMD still best for CPU?
