  4. TalkingGIJoe on December 7, 2021 at 11:30 am

Well, how do you feel now that the Raspberry Pi Zero 2W has come out this year?

  5. Daniel on December 7, 2021 at 11:31 am

Buyers of the Pi CM4 beware!!!

I just bought a CM4 (with Wifi, 4gb ram, 8gb emmc) and I was blindsided by something I haven’t seen anyone mention. If you buy a variant of the CM4 with on EMMC storage, you CAN NOT use the microsd card slot as well. The io pins inside the SoC for the sdcard slot are connected to the emmc module instead on those variants, meaning the sdcard slot is not connected to anything. This is not something IO board makers can fix either, as it’s inside the CM4 SoC. So, do not buy a CM4 variant with EMMC storage expecting to also be able to use the sdcard slot for extra storage. The only way to use a microsd card will be to use a microsd-to-usb adapter, thus taking up a USB port with an adapter sticking out the side of the Pi.

Is there a way to convert Jetson Xavier into a portable windows PC? Noob

  9. Lynn Trisinscius on December 7, 2021 at 11:38 am

Still waiting for an SBC that’s fast enough to run N64 while output RGB via GPIO.

  10. Stavro Purdie on December 7, 2021 at 11:39 am

The jetson nano was built for ai not games

Kind of forgot about the Pi 400. Need to get my hands on one.

  12. TheFlatEarthChannel.com on December 7, 2021 at 11:39 am

I want to build my own aya neo. What would be the best board to use? I want a board that can support external gpu. And what gpu would you recommend that doesn’t need a giant fan. I also want to put a 4g sim support.

I’m curious what SBC I can use to emulate PS2, Gamecube, N64 dreamcast, and the like as there are many JRPGs from that era I’m interested in I never got to play. My Pi4 works great for older things, but cant quite do stuff more advanced than ps1

  15. James Collins on December 7, 2021 at 11:50 am

The Jetson Nano is one of my all-time disappointments in the SBC space. So much potential, wasted, thanks to Nvidia’s backward approach. It’s a good reason why Nvidia should not be allowed to purchase ARM.

  16. all hallows on December 7, 2021 at 11:51 am

the lattepanda has to be my favorite board I use it not just as my emulator but small pc games as well I also u parsec with it

  18. Daniel on December 7, 2021 at 11:55 am

I prefer LEG based SBC’s, they run faster than ARM’s.

  19. El Armiño on December 7, 2021 at 11:56 am

Many people do not seem to realize that the future is netbooks that are a compromise between SBC/ARM and PC/x86

  20. MDKVideo on December 7, 2021 at 11:58 am

    4:32 what a hairy board

  21. Sam Lawry on December 7, 2021 at 11:58 am

It’s possible now to have a img to rasp 4 in 4/3 640x480p 60 hertz to use on pi2jamma?
    Just to play naomi,dreamcast,cave,stv…maybe terrordrome…
I would be happy to have one,I just use my pi2jamma with pi3 in 15khz but no Deathsmiles, naomi, terrordrome…

How to check windows 11 is compatible with PC/Laptop ?
    @

  28. Marcos Bernal on December 7, 2021 at 12:07 pm

Why aren’t any of these USB-PD capable? Many of us already use only one monitor to charge + USB hub + video link with our laptops.

  29. Temp Acc on December 7, 2021 at 12:07 pm

    No Teensy?

  30. brightshadowdenmark on December 7, 2021 at 12:08 pm

Framework laptop board ? 😉 (it’s meant to run as a standalone PC with USB-C power..)

  31. Alex McD on December 7, 2021 at 12:08 pm

I’m curious where the pi zero 2 would fit in this list now it’s out. Any chance of an update or just a pinned comment?

  32. GARI EVOLUTION SOCCER on December 7, 2021 at 12:10 pm

new Pi with 8c performence or 12core : with new conect can be compine 2/4/6/8 mobo for AI noron!!!

  33. Jean Ken on December 7, 2021 at 12:10 pm

    whats is emulation?

  34. Pablo Girola on December 7, 2021 at 12:11 pm

Great list, But for real emulation (hardware level) I prefer a DE-10 Nano Mister FPGA. Mister proyect progressed a lot in recent years.

  35. Igor Troyanovski on December 7, 2021 at 12:14 pm

The Xavier NX, at this price point, competes with x86 systems like the Intel NUC.
Not sure what kind of market they were going for…

  36. Giga Volt on December 7, 2021 at 12:15 pm

RPI4 is like the King of all SBCs

  37. The Professor on December 7, 2021 at 12:15 pm

RPI4 is out of stock world wide – you cannot walk into a Best Buy and buy one.

  38. Jhone Doe on December 7, 2021 at 12:17 pm

The issue is not which board to choose, but where to find this with the ongoing chip shortage

  39. Stamo Hristov on December 7, 2021 at 12:18 pm

Expensive single board ARM computer is like alcohol free bee: it tastes almost the same, but you have a feeling that something is very wrong 🙂

  40. DosTops on December 7, 2021 at 12:18 pm

Do you have a list of sbc that runs x86?

  41. Rynn Dash on December 7, 2021 at 12:19 pm

at 3:43 maybe they saw this video and put out the raspberry pi 2 zero

  42. ETA PRIME on December 7, 2021 at 12:19 pm

If you have your Own List Lets see it in the comments.

  43. Andrea on December 7, 2021 at 12:20 pm

I don’t understand the Pi Zero being there for a list that is supposed to be set in 2021….. That was ages ago, let it sink already

  44. Anonsforever•com on December 7, 2021 at 12:20 pm

I have pi4b with Kali installed on the sd card. It is very slow and I sometimes have issues with audio.

  45. PC Socket 462 ecsviak7vza on December 7, 2021 at 12:21 pm

which one has physics processor? mpeg2 video encoder?

  46. RedCapManStudios on December 7, 2021 at 12:23 pm

Which one would be the best for Wii games?

  47. Povilas Staniulis on December 7, 2021 at 12:24 pm

My favorite is still the Pi 4, a great balance between power, price and software support. I still use my old Pi 3 too, set up as a 720p home security camera with a C920 webcam.
Those Tegra boards are lovely, wish there was more software support for them though (outside of AI use cases). The Xavier NX is 400 $ or more depending on where you look. The specs are monstrous though for an SBC.
Rockchip software support is getting there but still needs work.

  48. Erbmon on December 7, 2021 at 12:25 pm

I’m out of the market for now, xbox series S is where my emulation is now and i think it will stay there for a time

  49. Lilian Korba on December 7, 2021 at 12:25 pm

I love my Raspy 4. It can work as Retro Pie, Chrome Cast, Nextcloud, Steam Link and Kodi without problems. Great tutorials for all of these use cases.

  50. atsz on December 7, 2021 at 12:27 pm

You keep talking about emulation, but you didn’t mention that in the title of the video. It’s a bit misleading
