Don’t Forget to rock the Crocs!: https://amzn.to/2SCFKJY

Up until this point in the build, i have done no electrical upgrades or wiring. I’ve always wanted to install a proper switch system that would look really nice, be safe, and leave a really clean installation.
I went with the 6 switch system from Stech! They are made in USA, and overall its a very nice kit. Stech also gives us the option to make a custom setup, you can choose your colors, switch labeling, and even custom wiring options!

I really needed this switch system so i can continue moving forward with the build! Like i mentioned, my lockers are not hooked up… So finally i can knock that out! One more step closer to getting this jeep LJ out on the trails!

I also decided to go ahead and install the JW speaker J3 Headlights that i have been waiting to install. These things are insanely bright… And they also look really nice on the LJ.
I went with the graphite background headlights just to change it up from what we have on the JKU, there isnt a huge difference, just enough to make it look good.

What’s the engineering term for a one night stand?

    A nut and bolt.

Btw, the texas sun is not as bad as you think. I’ve lived here all my live and if you simply wash and care for your paint/headlights, they will be fine.

Fuse or fire…. The decision is yours.

  6. Mr2greys on February 5, 2023 at 4:07 am

Most TJs have an extra 2 wires located around the fuse box behind the glove compartment, one switched one not where you can feed power off of.

I wish they would make this for 97-02 TJs. Mine doesn’t have that windshield surround. Frustrating.

Been watching your husband for a while. I was watching one of his videos and he mentioned your channel, so i wanted to check it out. Do you two do side work on jeeps? If so how much would you charge to put a V8 in my Jeep?

  15. Jason H on February 5, 2023 at 4:20 am

What’s the tow rating with that new V8 swap?

  16. Sargsmith on February 5, 2023 at 4:21 am

Just picked up a 6 pod universal system after you guys recommendation of the company and seeing they were made in usa. We will see how it turns out. I have an XJ, so no cool custom stuff for me, lol.

  19. Rtechlord on February 5, 2023 at 4:26 am

I kept trying to find out of I can swap a rocker switch out for a toggle switch with a cover for a very similar reason. Didn’t think to wire one of the buttons so that both need to be on. I think that will be safe enough. Thanks for that tidbit!

JGG. For those viewers overseas, what’s the purpose of Memorial Day Stateside ? Give us an idea what the next 12 months might involve with "turning tools" in the garage and overlanding/off-roading ! V.

  26. Don Ashcraft on February 5, 2023 at 4:34 am

  27. chrisridebike8 on February 5, 2023 at 4:35 am

That discount code is clutch! Thanks for the vid and the code.

  28. Shane Irwin on February 5, 2023 at 4:38 am

Nice video, thanks. You would think Jeep would just make this easy on everybody, and have some wiring ready to go for aux lights. It would literally add only $50 to their production cost. I’m talking about some generic wiring that could be used on about any aux lighting type. Odd how makers of heavily modified vehicles don’t really offer much help there.

  29. attimus02 on February 5, 2023 at 4:39 am

Wait, why was she skateboarding? That’s awesome. How old is Cassie?

  35. Jamie Ritchie on February 5, 2023 at 4:44 am

great video. can you tell me when you connect lockers which wires did you use from ARB harness? Just yellow & green for lockers or do I need to splice the red(power) wire and add that to both yellow and green to positive on the spod box?

  40. stitch1007 on February 5, 2023 at 4:48 am

I really like your idea of putting the JW Speaker headlights in the LJ. I hadn’t thought to do that and now I think I might have to copy it.

  41. Hot Flash Foto on February 5, 2023 at 4:48 am

Air pump under a seat, but make it removable so you can service it or use it elsewhere.

  42. WoodsN Water on February 5, 2023 at 4:50 am

What about a jeep xj ? Do they make switch panel for a jeep XJ with jk axles and lockers?

  45. Garza on February 5, 2023 at 4:52 am

Damn I would’ve loved that headlight. I’m trying to fab custom headlights up on a dodge Dakota. I plan on using jeep lights in a homemade housing but I need a template 😭

  46. troy van esch on February 5, 2023 at 4:53 am

For your arb compressor I would put it under your seat in the cab

  47. vincem5 on February 5, 2023 at 4:56 am

your Jeep seriously needs a snorkel or a cold air intake. having that pod filter sitting there behind the radiator and above the headers is a great position to suck in the hot air. poor motor. 🙁

  48. troy van esch on February 5, 2023 at 4:56 am

I had a 2000 to till it got rote off but now I have a 2013 model jk with a 3.5 inch lift with 35” tires with 456 gears
