Liam’s quiet, "And sometimes Y"
After "I-O-U-N" caught me so off guard.
I love how they are going to have to fight the Tomb Takers in Aeor where the magic is absolutely messed up and magic users are at a total disadvantage. And their plan of recruiting allies is literally "let’s just ask all the wizards we know to help us!" (I’m aware that’s just the kind of people they know, but it is still hilarious to me.)
You know bad shit’s about to go down when almost an entire episode consists of nothing but old characters from campaign 1 making an appearance to shower the party with magical items.
I know we already know this, but Marisha’s character must hate her dad, and with her set of skills, she must want to pop Pops.
God, Jester’s stats are such an argument against rolling. Completely unbalanced.
Edit: Jesus, Beauregard too. Might as well be cheating.
They should have given it to Kiri that would have set that family up for life
All this talk about the crazed philosophers of Aeor is giving me the insane image of fantasy Diogenes running around Aeor holding a plucked chicken screaming "BEHOLD!!!!!! A MAN!!!!!!!"
2:35:53 A
I’ve had a moment like that as an adult where I suddenly realized that super messed up thing that happened when I was a kid was actually not okay and the only reason no one tried to help me was because no one knew about it. I’ve only ever told my wife, when i finally realized the truth behind a child’s memory. Her reaction made me afraid to mention it to anyone else, so I guess it dies with her, me, and "them".
I love that Matt was subtly preparing them for a TPK. Yussa and Allura reaching out to others that could pick up the fight if they failed.
Now that Veth isn’t using that cool dagger, she finally has an awesome gift for her boy back home!
Where’s my Marisha-mute button so I can enjoy the dialogueeeeeeeeeee
Like please just stop talking 😭
I really wanted them to buckle and give Halas his body
Because I’m struggling, does anyone know what feat they were talking about wherein one could get more than 3 attunements?
It’s a wonder of worldbuilding that I’m confused and frightened of fake politics
I don’t know if anyone else pointed this out, but when they were about to tell Alura what’s going on, Liam did the “Ba-dum” from Little Shop of Horrors to bypass it! I almost lost my shit!
Stormlord, mothafuckas!
Listening to Sam’s Cyberpunk 1977 ad complaining about the price of gas, and here in 2022, has is $6.01 by my house. Lol
Silver-blonde haired wizard queen bends down to answer advice of a worried halfling carrying a cursed object: we love to see it. 2:01:49
They found the Holy Avenger with a massive roll back then. And now they got it back with another massive roll.
1:48:43 * I would have laughed so hard if after saying The Traveller’s name, Allura said, "Get out."
2:56:56 The people who released covid when someone says they don’t want to be forced to get vaccinated
Calab’s comment about the staff was hilarious. In his mind he was like a kid in the chocolate factory

The in-game start date for the episode was the 28th of Brussendar 836. Sam’s flask says “Otis’s Tears” The back still has a curly black mustache on it and also the while mustache from Sam’s commercial. Fjord’s new level was in Warlock btw, so he’s now Lock 11 Pal 3.
My little sister finally started watching campaign 2. I think it’ll be a while before she realizes I am who I am, but Nell if you ever read this, yes it’s me. Love you.
Any moments I missed? Feel free to post them here. Is it Thursday yet?
"Can I have the ring" hahaha the subtle undertones, hilarious.
Honestly, the Mighty Nein are pretty evil to have left Halas to just remain within that gem for all of eternity, possibly to grow insane with centuries. They should have either destroyed the gem and sent him on to whatever death had for him, or released him into life with whatever promises they could to not be a horror on the world.
For real…how the eff does the teleport fail thing work?! Did we not establish that it was fine to try and teleport things AWAY from Eisselcross, but that teleporting TOO there was quite dicey? That is what Essek said…so why did teleporting the threshold crest to the Cobalt Soul in Rexxentrum go wrong? M9 was using a 7th level Teleport to send an object to a known circle, AND they had an object from there. On the table, that is a 100 percent success…so what the actual eff is going on with the crest having gone somewhere out in the effing woods?!?!
Is this just a massive eff up by Matt that wound up being the way things were because nobody noticed or spoke up? Or is this part of Matt getting things set up the way he wants them for the end of the campaign?
I want y’all to know that my attempts to fully watch this episode have been interrupted so many times now and every single time it resets the video back to like half an hour and I never remember where I left off. The show is really doing an incredibly oddly specifically good job of living up to the episode title.
Marisha is amazing this episode
The M9 just keep jumping to places where its 12 oclock in the afternoon and insisting no time has passed while Lucian finishes his plans
The Cobalt Soul actuallly investigating Beau’s claims and taking her seriously hit me in a sorespot. In a good way, I mean.
I’m not normally the type to cry at while watching media, but that got me.
God I wish that’s how it actually worked.
1:18:35 I don’t recall at any time there was a moment when Vox Mochina went into Allura’s tower post-stream. I know that there were a few times they went pre-stream. So, this might be the first time for audiences and listeners to be knowing the description within the tower where so much has happened.
2:12:40 It was kinda hard to read that but I eventually did. Very clever.
2:35:17 Yeah, I wasn’t expecting this either. When did she ask this of Dairon? Because I do not remember this conversation. Unless it was very touch-and-go interaction.
3:00:35 So, rather than going out to look for the thing themselves, the group who doesn’t trust anyone easily trusts someone to search for a really big, really heavy magical artifact in the middle of the woods. I get that they wanted the Cobalt Soul to keep it in a safe place but I think having a search team of the CS roaming through the woods would be pretty conspicuous. Do they not think that they have the time to look for it themselves? I thought that was the plan? They try to get as many people on both sides to stop Lucien or help them in their attempt and then they go get the Stone, take it to the Cobalt Reserve, and that way no one else gets hurt. Then they head back up north and enter Aeor and try to find a way to prevent Lucien from returning the city.
3:22:19 W-why? Why? Why did she have this? When did she get this? How long has she had this? 3:22:30 From Avantika? Like when she attacked them at sea?
Fjord: so we are killing your Father? No hesitation. The Might Nein takes care of its’ own.
The amount of goblin energy in that room of possibly trying to stay the night in Emon and go to Gideon’s was powerful haha
The Holy Avenger is the definition of paying it forward from C1
Omg Jester’s little school girl giggle to Yasha’s “Maybe your way is better.” Fucking DARK. love it
The warlidin only has +5 persuasion? Did NONE of them take proficiency in persuasion??
2:54:23 talls face… priceless
The dialogues are so amazing in these episodes I can’t believe it
Sam drinks Otis’ Tears, YES
"Do you want smaller ninjas?"
Like gnomes? Gnome ninjas. Gnome-jas.
I find it hilarious that Halas, the mighty, ancient, and devious Archmage, might be stuck in that damn gem for eternity, random adventuring parties pretending to make a deal with him and just leaving him in a box.
I now know what my next date night will have.
Sam isn’t wrong about Cleveland. It’s a little shitty. But Marisha is also right- we have good music 🤣
Said as a lifelong native northeast Ohioan and current Cleveland citizen.
The luxon is basically Buddhism lol
"Do you want cat ninjas, or ninjas in place of cats. I can do it." Yes this is the most important question, and the answer is cat ninjas.
Beau to Caleb:
Daddsds can i use the house to throw a party?
56:53 No. I will not.
I love how invested ashley is in beau’s story. it’s like a lil glimpse into the moments where yasha fell in love with her
1:39:53 This part makes me giggle way too much ^.^
1:52:45 And the payoff here is wonderful ^.^
Yay platinum swords!
