Yep… and your fossil fuel bill went down!

  6. Kevin in Phoenix on December 31, 2022 at 2:05 am

EV owners are not paying any road use taxes that are charged to gas and diesel users. This should be fixed some day and the cost to recharge EVs will go up.

***I’d like to know how much mileage you get with a car load of people at an average weight of 150 lb per people and a trunk load of luggage and go from LA or wherever you live to Las Vegas or say San Francisco. What will be your mileage with the extra weight of people in your car during the summer with air condition on or during the winter with your heater on using up all the electricity in your car.***
You didn’t tell us how much your car payments are and your insurance payments are along with your electricity put together monthly.$$$$$ πŸ’Έ πŸ’Έ πŸ’°

A full charge gets me over 300 miles, not 240.
My power utility gives me a reduced price for charging in non-peak hours so all of my electricity during those hours is cheaper, resulting in a power bill in which i do not even notice a difference.
I don’t know what planet this young lady is from.

  11. Ralph Sampson on December 31, 2022 at 2:09 am

Damn, girl. It takes 10:00 to us how much it costs to charge? Just get to the answer. Damn.

If you would have to pay 200 euros to fill a tank of gas in europe you would not think 60 dolars is that much in usa. Savings here are huge. Nice video tho.

  20. Shadow Banned on December 31, 2022 at 2:21 am

As electric cars become more and more common there will be added costs as the tax revenue from petrol sales drops off and of course you have Democrats destroying the power infrastructure in American and replacing it with wind and solar so the cost of power will go up as well.

  27. Zippitydoodah on December 31, 2022 at 2:28 am

Oh. And there is a ‘comparable mpg cost" on the sticker of most Teslas. And it equates to a car that gets about 130 mpg.

    Bimbo

  29. Tina Krautkremer on December 31, 2022 at 2:28 am

Ok.. Now what’s the cost to replace the batteries ?? What’s the cost for repairs ?? I know they’re not a monthly thing but neither is it for a gas vehicle.. They don’t stand the cold either..

  30. Abled Veteran Nomad on December 31, 2022 at 2:29 am

How much more coal does the electric company have to burn to provide all the electricity for these cars? These actually do more harm to the environment indirectly than gas vehicles do. Yall just think it’s a cord plugged into a wall

  31. joecatetal on December 31, 2022 at 2:29 am

  34. Mark on December 31, 2022 at 2:34 am

How much more did you spend on the Tesla compared to your last gas car?

  35. Gary Highley on December 31, 2022 at 2:34 am

It’s worth it….if you can afford a Tesla.

  36. October 10, 2135 on December 31, 2022 at 2:34 am

    Reasonable costs… EVs are great…

  37. Steve Lutzke on December 31, 2022 at 2:42 am

Keep in mind that a battery does not like to be charged quickly, if you want a battery to last it requires a slow charge. To be fair also take the amount of money you should have paid in road taxes that at this time only those without have to pay. And do we really think prices won’t increase as people switch to these cars? Just a few things to consider….

  38. CONSTITUTIONALLY CORRECT on December 31, 2022 at 2:45 am

Wait till you have to buy another battery for it

  39. Sheila Dikshit on December 31, 2022 at 2:45 am

  46. clemdog76 on December 31, 2022 at 2:50 am

But, the car cost way more than most in it’s class so, 🀷🏻. Spend $100,000 (after interest and insurance almost double) to avoid a couple hundred a month in gas costs.

  47. Rinegn Productions on December 31, 2022 at 2:52 am

actually the electric company do give you a breakdown its called your electric bill lmao just compare the bill before and after if you cant figure it out then that just sucks
