3:27 Not conclusive as unsafe? Do you know there is a lawsuit in Singapore of a business woman to Xiaomi send her privacy back to China without permission, and she won. Did you know those who use Wechat installed in Chinese smartphone are supervised by CCP? Idiot video to wash for Chinese Regime.

PLEASE GO READ "PASSWORD LAW OF PRC" which started 1 Jan 2020. Don’t know Chinese? Neverminded, CCP have the right to take USER PASSWORD WITHOUT informing you and proper reason. Do you get it? What the hell of TRUTH you mention in video, it is disguising.

Ang dahilan niyan pag marami silang stocks mura ang presyo na kayang bilhin ng mga customers nila. Pag konti ang stocks siyempre mahal ang presyo.

Firmware that spies on you is the end of it all. You cannot delete it or overwrite it. Samsung and Apple are much much much less likely to do that. The Chinese play a "clean" war to undermine and manipulate over decades.

  12. Leonardo on November 9, 2021 at 9:17 am

Chinese phones are great, but… the reason i don’t really like them or buy them is the SAR, the radiations emitted by phones (in this case).
Chinese brands phones have super high sar rates! And guess what, it’s bad for your health, especially if you use your phone for long periods of time, like me.
Don’t get me wrong, Chinese phones are so great, but, I prefer brands like Samsung… why? Because of the low SAR rates.

  23. Risha Fernandez on November 9, 2021 at 9:29 am

I really feel like Chinese phone brands get all this unnecessary hate because of their government, as well as the usual Western propaganda towards Asian competitors that still perpetuates up to this day.

Your privacy is already compromised once you use the Internet. Foreign brands outsource their manufacturing in China or some other developing Asian country to save on labor costs despite the high phone prices.

Chinese phone brands makes it more possible to be innovative and affordable at the same time.

  24. Martin Nugent on November 9, 2021 at 9:29 am

Just wait until they phone does it’s updates and then delete your Google play etc. A regular occurrence in phones that have already been tampered with by Chinese intelligence services.

Huawei VP speaks out on why he resigned after The Post reported the tech giant had worked on a ‘Uighur alarm’

Tommy Zwicky, the face of Huawei in Denmark, says he could no longer look at himself in the mirror.
Huawei worked on an “Uighur alarm” system that could track minorities. Huawei failed to take seriously matters of public surveillance and human rights.
    Washington Post
The VP of communications for Huawei in Denmark has resigned over the Chinese company’s role in testing surveillance tools capable of tracking China’s Muslims. There’s grumbling inside Huawei over the company’s alleged role in China’s surveillance abuse. Huawei is aiding China CCP in Uyghur surveillance.

Tommy Zwicky, vice president of communications at Huawei Denmark, confirmed to VICE World News on Wednesday that he “left because of how the Uighur case was handled.”

They added, “Maybe he has known too much (about Huawei’s secrets)?”

  35. lolo mo on November 9, 2021 at 9:46 am

The truth about chinese smartphones? Everytime you buy one, you are one of the reason why CCP f*cked up this world so much. You basically helped CCP in:

    – killing of minorities in China.
    – funding PLA into landgrabbing neighboring countries.
    – giving them sensitive data about your country.

So yeah, that basically makes you a human garbage. Dont buy chinese phones.

  36. KEVIN COMIA on November 9, 2021 at 9:46 am

Chinese brands are…🤔🤔🤔 cheaper thats it. People trying to compare them to apple and samsung but those 2 are premium brands though they release some budget units the name itself have the reputation of quality build.

  37. Cody Koh on November 9, 2021 at 9:47 am

Simply we do not patronize CCP products for a bazillion reasons. Yun na yun.

  38. Cecilia on November 9, 2021 at 9:49 am

im more scared for privacy concerns and the fact that the ccp

  39. RODDY4MYOR on November 9, 2021 at 9:52 am

Question if u have 2 phones with same data in both erasing data off one (due to anxiety of hackers) can it be traced or sent to my other phone and use that to spy on me?in camera or in general. ( For data)

  40. mmikkone on November 9, 2021 at 9:52 am

I’ve been scared about Chinese smart devices ever since I found a virus from a security camera bought on ebay. I don’t know if the virus was planted there by the manufacturer or some middle man, but scary it is…

  41. Capsy Dash on November 9, 2021 at 9:53 am

youtube in a chinese smartphone? WTF?

  42. William Wilson on November 9, 2021 at 9:54 am

First off; Every Chinese phone is subsidized by the Chinese government, which is the reason they are less expensive. Every Chinese corporation has some or all ownership by the CCP.

It is the CCP implementing a law that says any Chinese company must give up consumer information to the PLA immediately on request, which means backdoors could exist or could be added to updated firmware. Heck, I’m not even dumb enough to put TikTok on my devices.

If I want cheap junk, I get Chinese. But if I have a choice, I buy quality products from Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Canada, USA, Isreal or anywhere else that’s not China.

  43. Asher Wade on November 9, 2021 at 9:54 am

PS/- …and, why do I get creeped out, when Tech Reviewers {like yourself} say at the end: "And, I’ll *see you* in the next one." (???) ~ How can you *see* me, at all-?!?! {;~)

  44. Zion Domingo on November 9, 2021 at 9:55 am

Chinese smart phones are damn cheap and quality depends on the price

  45. Ritz Flores on November 9, 2021 at 9:56 am

    Dont support Chinese spy gadgets!

  48. MetalHead696 on November 9, 2021 at 10:02 am

you need to understand communism a bit better. communism has no private ownership. all industry that produces wealth are owned, controlled or influenced by the ruling communist party therefore all big tech Chinese companies are in one way or the other influenced by the communist regime of China. if the government ask for users data from these tech companies, they willingly do so without question. That’s the danger of it. buy at your own risk. as for me, id rather buy local or stick to other brands that offer budget phone like Nokia or the Samsung A series.
