"budget", what kind of high student rocking $1000 laptop for?
Economics students sitting here thinking "buts where’s the full size laptops" 😂 we need the number pad
I recently bought an Acer Aspire 7 for $720, Ryzen 5 5500U, 4GB Gtx 1650, 512GB ssd, and with just an 8GB of ram, you should also consider this one, btw ram is upgradable so it’s just fine.
if i found a pretty good deal on 2018/2019 refurbished 15 inch macbook pro would you recommend this? watched a lot of videos recently thanks for the great content
did u forget the high end macbook pro for high end or leave it out on purpose
can someone help me out please? Im going into architecture and need a laptop, would the Rog Zephyrus M16 be good enough for 3d modeling like autocad 2d/3d? Ive also been looking at the xp 15 but that is 800 more with 32 gb instead of 16 and an rtx3050ti instead the 3060.
I am very disappointed that none of the laptops in the *budget* category are even less than $750. Budget category should be at least from $500-$1000.
2:05 my budget was around 400 initially but I spotted the £500 AMD version of the Acer swift 3 and managed to get that. I find myself using it more than I use my PC (1660, 2600x,16gb ram) as it runs most games well enough. If your budget is in this range I’d strongly recommend at least giving it a look
Don’t forget the Asus flow x13. It is definitely up there in price but it does everything. High performance cpu check, dedicated gpu check, thin and light form factor check, 16:10 1200p display check, 120hz display check, amazing battery life check and proper 2 in 1 form factor with touch screen and included stylus support check and check
Last year I bought a laptop hp 15 for $600 Intel i3(10110u) , ram 4 gb ddr4 and m.2 ssd 128 gb
I have got a question for you. Why is it becoming more difficult to get access to 15 inch PCs that have the numpad keyboard?
last gen g14 user here got it for 1000 euro couldnt be happier great keyboard great trackpad great baterry life small and thin good build quality only issue is no webcam but my classes are in presence and when needed I just use my phone which I havent needed to do yet actually. also great performance obviously
tks
Hardware Canucks if you’re European do you not recommend any of the Huawei laptops. Unless you guys in Canada have had a taste of huawei laptops?. They look like some nice machines but not allot of people have talked about them only one machine the matebook 14s
If you have enough money for a 1000 dollar laptop for school you aren’t watching this video.
you shall focus more on students laptop and less on the gaming..
Great video by the way however as a student that has limited of money can you find a cheap laptop that is good enough for school and everyday usage for 600 dollars or less anything above I can not afford it.
Lenovo Legion 5, especially the new model, is like a no-brainer to me if you want to game too. It’s pretty much at the top on so many aspects, the ports are at the back which is great, and it has a lot of them. Max tdp GPU, backlit keyboard, good build quality, good screen, decent battery life if you choose the AMD option. And it has sufficient cooling.
Maybe not as portable, especially with a larger power brick than more mobile options, but the combo of a 6600H + 3060, or 6800H + 3060, it beats so many competitors in value.
For back to school I would prioritise laptop battery, lightweight and smaller to fit in your backpack (and use a sleeve). 15 inch and above is way too big. If your course allows, I would go with base model M1 Macbook air. There seems to be a heavy gamer agenda. Conside a second gaming dedicated PC for home which also will be detracting from your study time.
1000 dollar laptops in the "budget" part of this video lmao
Sir, lenono slim 7 pro x ( amd ) or asus vivobook pro 14x oled ( amd )
Which one to choose please tell me. I am confused between these two ?
Do you recommend macbook pro 14?
whats with the normal lenovo yoga slim 7 pro x with AMD prozessor why wasnt that mentioned its cheaper tham the intel model
I just got myself an insane deal on the lenovo slim 7 pro 16" for less than 700 and now I’m trying to get rid of my macbook pro 14. Because I can really use those 1k bucks otherwise. 5800H + 3050 for such a price is insane. It’s insane what kind of laptops you can get nowadays for a cheap price.
Students can get the HP aero 13 for 650 aswell over here. What a time.
What about HP Pavilion Plus?
Just picked up a Surface Pro 8 with keyboard for $1069 (US) with a student discount it’s the 8 GB ram model but it’s amazing for the size .. battery life is good compared to my Legion 7i .. always has to be plugged in.
where the thinpad people at?
Nah kids want razer laptop
A *summer fan* , huh?
As a *winter enjoyer* : "lol".
How come there are no more compact laptops with the home/end/delete/insert row on the right of the keyboard? 😭
Man and I’m over here a student and working tryna get something for about 500
Hey, my acer swift 3 just broke after 1 year and 2 months (outside of acer warranty, inside of Costco’s thankfully) the hinge detached from the screen side panel, causing the screen to Crack, I tried to re-adhere it but it didn’t work. Stay clear from acer.
I was lucky to have paper folder with some paper in it. And a phone… really…if you called my house and didn’t get anybody you weren’t getting anybody…
How tf 900$ Is budget laptop
My laptop buying guide:Get the most powerful laptop that you can get in your budget range😂
If you’re into repairability, consider the Framework laptop. You can get a decent spec (1240P + 16 GB + 1 TB aftermarket SSD) for $1250 or so.
The AMD option for the slim 7 pro is better for most people. Just not worth it to go with intel for a laptop that thin and light.. The battery life and cooling just aren’t good enough.
Can you do a video for college students on a budget? $300-$600, thank you 🤍
Honestly you lost me at the very first one. Why do I need 16g of ram. Like at most all the student laptop should be running is the basic if yall you are doing taking notes and such. I suppose if you are using it for more high end things sure but just get a pc at that point
I am a big fan of Asus Zenbooks, very well priced and their new stuff is 16 by 10 ratio touch screen (Zenbook Flip 13)
I can’t aford neither of those
Please do a review of the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Por x 🙂
aero 13 looking good
bro if that is your real voice…. I am impressed
please bring full review of legion 5 and pro models
Do the oled screens burn in fast? That’s one of the things holding me back from getting the asus zen. I’d like to use a laptop for 5+ years (which is what my current Acer has been running for)
Hi can someone tell which laptop would be better?
Lenovo Slim 7i PRO X (Intel)
or
Lenovo Slim 7 PRO X (AMD)
I am going to be studying engineering at university from september and need a laptop for my work and some gaming too. I can get both with 32gb Ram and 1tb storage.
Where do you guys get your wallpapers from? You guys have some awesome wallpapers in your videos.
Great video!
How on earth have I not found you earlier. So calming and pretty dang informative for a newer consumer. Good stuff
