Thousands of angry consumers say faulty and failing Samsung refrigerators should be recalled

Thousands of consumers across the country complain their newer model Samsung fridges can’t stay cold. Some say they’ve spent months fighting for repairs and or a refund.

    Is there a process for submitting complaints in Canada that you are aware of? Our refrigerator is constantly freezing up and has been for years. We have to defrost it every 2-3 months as the ice builds up and the fan starts ticking. This time the fan just stopped working and we didn’t know and doesn’t seem to work. Paid a lot of money for it and it’s been junk since we got it. Now the fridge part isn’t even cold, yet it says 3 degrees Celsius, but it’s actually at 18.5 degrees. Any help on getting warranty work or refund would be appreciated. Bought it from Home Depot in 2015. Thank you

    Mine just went out during the power outage from the hurricane, with the power going off and on I believe something in my circuit board may have burned out, causing the freezer not to get cold now.

    My brother’s “floor model” quit after the 2nd day. Samsung’s answer: coupon toward a full priced crappy fridge from their online store.

    Samsung is dishonest we paid for ours to last us not to have water everywhere and then freezes the water! Destroyed our floor!
    We have had this for around 8 years now, keeps having the same problems.
    They know they are dishonest and never fixed the problems with every fridge being sold!

    I’m fighting to get a refund for my fridge now. My fridge is only a year and a half old and has had three repair attempts. It is now just taking up space in my kitchen and we are using ice chests and buying ice daily to keep food cold. This fridge has a new motherboard in it at my cost of $400.00 that won’t be reimbursed to me. I was told my refund was approved yesterday to find out this morning that it was not decided on yet. So off to buy more ice.

    Don’t buy a Samsung refrigerator at any cost. It’s not worth it. They offered me a coupon for another Samsung product. Obviously, I said no thanks. I just want this one out so I can get a fridge in that I can use. I’ve lost a lot of food and money with this Samsung that they won’t give back. Beware before you buy. Seems like I’m not alone and I will put in a complaint with Consumer protection.

    NEVER EVER buy a Samsung-RF28R7351SG Refrigerator. Worlds worst. Unless you want a $2,000 nightmare. Notoriously bad with no help from Samsung. Search and read the horror stories.

    Trust me, ALL Samsung refrigerators suck, regardless of age. Mine is from 2010. It has been horrifying since about the third month I owned it. THEY ALL SUCK.

    He bought the fridge in 2015 and it lasted 5 years. I bought a ge in 2017 that also last 5 years.

    Their appliance’s are the worst. 3 years old out f warranty. The 10 year warranty is only for the compressor.

    I had multiple Samsung products that are bad. Thankfully, Costco allowed the return of a 49in monitor that was flickering along with a vertical center band of discoloration. Stay away from anything with the Samsung name.

    I’m just starting to have problems with my Samsung refrigerator I bought brand new in 2016. My mother had endless problems with her Samsung refrigerator, it was repaired over 7 times under warranty and it just wouldn’t cool and stay functional for long. People see Samsung as a prestigious brand mostly because of their phones and TV sets, but refrigerators isn’t one of them. My advice If you live in America buy a refrigerator from an American 🇺🇸 company. 🦅 🇺🇸 🙌 🇺🇸 🦅

    My stepmom has had two years trying to get her Samsung fridge to work. What did they do? Upsell her into a $700 service contract. Still not working and they don’t have the parts to fix it. Also, doors don’t close on their own and it beeps and makes other weird noises.

    Wtf these mfs full of shit I called they said the warranty for 10 years covers 5 years for parts n 5 years for labor and that they need proof of purchase but they have the date when the warranty started on the unit smh

    I regretted I bought that trash refrigerator brand. Don’t buy Samsung refrigerators! They careless to customer’s needs. What makes worse if just purchasing one less than one year and stopping working you have to go to Samsung for repair even though you added protection plan. Samsung will schedule you a three week’s waiting, even one month before sending someone to fix issues. Nonsense, complete nonsense!
