My favorite games are sonic frontiers, god of war, spider-Man, Mario, the legends of Zelda breath of the wild, NBA 2K23, GTA, Horizon, and Minecraft
300 hrs on Elden Ring, couldn’t feel shit for the characters. In less than 20 hrs, Ragnarök did it 5 times better

Call of Duty Modern Warfare2 2022 is my favorite
Place horizon forbidden west #5 in that list is an insult
Look I’m not going to say this list is wrong or that WatchMojo puts out lists like this all the time, but this list should just be called "8 AAA games that were good and 2 indie games we felt needed to be added" etc. There were so many other awesome indie or AA games that came out this year. I won’t argue whether any of these games deserve to be on a best of list or not (especially Elden Ring since I am not a Souls fan at all) but there were amazing games all year (including Shredder’s Revenge which only got an honorable mention as it is!). Glad to at least see Nightmare Reaper and Nobody Saves the World included though, even if there were better indie shooters/games this year.
MY favorite game of the year is Poppy Playtime Chapter 2
Arguably the second biggest year for video games after 2018. In 2018 we got Red Dead Redemption 2 and God of War , in 2022 we got Elden Ring and Ragnarok. Arguably those 2 are the only games you need to play that came out in 2022.

The fact that you have Sonic Frontiers, but no Neon White, Tunic, Vampire Survivors, Dorfromantik, or any of the countless games that were better than Sonic Frontiers is insane. WM just too afraid of weirdo Sonic fans.

I’m sorry WatchMojo, but I disagree. I think Plague Tale: Requiem is superior to Innocence in every way and goes beyond. I’ve literally replayed Innocence after Requiem and you can tell how much better it is.
I’ve played only three games from last year, two were Pokemon the other was Ragnarok
Lets all NOT forget. Arthur Morgan is the best character in video game history in RDR2 (best story mode game in history)
