For more information on A Year to Volunteer (Y2V): We’re Shar and Phil, full-time RVers with a simple mission, to visit all 50 states and volunteer in each one, fulfilling at least 365 volunteer days on our journey.

Y2V organizes RV-friendly projects, many of which are state parks, for the simple purpose of helping understaffed and cash-strapped state park systems around the country. If you are interested in learning more, subscribe to this channel and follow along. You can also visit any one of our social media sites below.

Our upcoming projects:
πŸ›  Wisconsin – Raptor Education Group Inc (REGI) (August 9-20) – we will help them build a new passerine (80% of smaller birds in the US fall under the passerine category) enclosure. REGI raises, rehabilitates, and works to release many endangered species of birds and we want to help them!
πŸ›  Oklahoma – Healdton Municipal Lake Park (Sep 13-24) – trails, painting buildings and repairing restrooms.
πŸ›  Arizona – Picacho Peak State Park (Oct 11-26) – we tackling 32 campground ramadas (cabanas)! Can you say prep and paint? πŸ™‚
πŸ›  Mississippi – Jackson County RV Park (Feb 14-25) – time to give a park a facelift! The. Whole. Park!
πŸ›  Michigan – State Park TBD late Spring 2022
… and more to come for 2022! πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯ πŸ”₯

Great information. Internet has been our nemesis being full time. We use the so called unlimited Verizon prepaid plan but they still throttle us when we are connected to a congested tower. They don’t call this throttling, they call it deprioritization which drops us to sub 100kbs. In other words, unusable. This usually happens on the weekends when the RV park fills up. We can usually compensate for that with our T-Mobile phone hotspots but each phone is capped at 60gb hotspot data. I think we will need to look into the AT&T plan to further fill the gaps. Thanks for sharing.

Good stuff guys. Do the prices include taxes and other fees? Just a note Verizon MIFI devices are not compatible with the AT&T plan. I spent 2 days figuring this out, my local AT&T reseller didn’t know this.
