What are Eyepiece Filters?
Celestron’s astronomical eyepiece filters are a great way to enhance your telescope viewing experience. Filters are able to: reduce light scatter and pollution, improve contrast, and reveal subtle details. Visual filters should be an essential part of everyone’s observing kit.
Only filters I find worth using are 80A(Blue)and UHC
I just bought the 6se. My moon filter doesn’t go in like that. How do I use the filters?
Can i see a colour full nebula with this filter on my eyepiece???

Does an uhc help with the western veil?
If the color filters are recommended for 8-inch telescopes..then why bother including them in accessoiry kits aimed for the Astromaster series which are 5-inch telescopes.
they also empty our pockets
gringos…. I need filter solar for nextar 130 slt……
Great info celestron, thanks for sharing. I started my astro adventures with a celestron 102slt and altaz computerised mount and moved on to the avx EQ mount for deep sky. I love the ease of use and high quality products, thanks celestron!
Great video! I’m thinking about getting any of those filters, shown on the video, for my new Celestron Inspire 100AZ Telescope one day 🙌
I find that my filters, which are the same as in the video, make the image really dim as a lot of the light is blocked out, meaning the observations aren’t very good and I end up not using the filters at all. Any suggestions on fixing this?
I bought the oxygen 3 filter and honestly It makes my views worse. At least they were telling the truth when they said it darkness the object. But it darkens it too much and it makes it look worse. I tried it on the dumbbell and you couldn’t see anything and when it’s off you can see it better. Is mine defective or am I not using it on the right object?
I bought recently 25×70 celestron skymaster. Is there any light pollution filter for that?
Flat-earthers must learn and take notes.
Wow incredible

My lens that came with my Celestron 114AZ do not have threads on them, a Celestron PL 26mm. How am I supposed to put the lens filter on as I need a Moon filter as it’s too bright to look at.
If I am using my 3X Barlow Lens do I put it on that or the eyepiece that goes on top of it?
I have celestron 60 az its just a starting version but still very nice👍
Will a moon filter work well on jupiter ?
THANK YOU…… I just bought my first telescope and trying to learn as much as possible, your video is the ONLY one I found on "how to install color filter lens".

Could I use these filters on a Orion 6" XT6 Plus Dobsonian?
